Most of us don't have the luxury that you obviously do of sticking with a land-line or simply never talking to anyone. Why are you commenting and claiming that someone is trying to force it on you? I do find it odd that you're pooh-poohing the iPod, which isn't some crazy futuristic device but the way most people are listening to music nowadays (either the iPod brand or another MP3 player). It's an example of totally mainstream technology... Are you also getting by fine without a telephone?
