DIY Warrior: How to Clean an Oscillating Fan (DIY Life)
Jul 7th 2010 11:46PM I cleaned all of ours, one at a time, in front of TV shows!
Mother Arrested for Leaving Daughter, 12, Home Alone for a Week (ParentDish)
Jun 15th 2010 1:59PM The weekend turned into a week because the flight was cancelled so she had to take a bus home? Hello - when you're flight's cancelled, they offer you another flight! This whole story sounds fake, phoney, and false.
Marc Jacobs Store Gets Special Delivery - Cocaine! (Stylelist (Main))
May 18th 2010 1:43PM Sheesh, you've degenerated from discussing the merits of the article, to insulting each other.
Thick Hair How-to's: From Best Hair Cut to Beachy Waves (Stylelist (Main))
Apr 6th 2010 11:24PM Where do they get the idea that with thick hair, "oily hair is hardly a concern"? My hair is VERY thick and VERY oily!
10 Annoying Phrases That Serve No Purpose (Asylum)
Nov 28th 2009 1:32AM I don't understand why someone saying, "No problem" is offensive. It's a little less formal than "you're welcome," which is fine when a little less formality is called for - e.g. between friends.
Victoria Gotti's Biggest Shocker? Breaking Her Silence (Lemondrop)
Sep 26th 2009 11:27PM I read the Lemondrop article right after - as in, a few minutes after - watching the 48 Hours show. You wouldn't know that Lemondrop was talking about the show I'd just finished watching! Maybe 20% of Lemondrop's reporting is accurate as to what Victoria and her siblings said. You really can't trust the media; they put their own spin on everything. Rather than giving you information, they tell you what to believe.

Aug 1st 2009 1:29AM What's the difference between this shapewear and a corset?
Critical Tweet Lands Chicago Tenant in Libel Suit (Switched)
Jul 29th 2009 1:01AM Your right to swing your fist ends where my nose begins. Similarly, your right to freedom of speech ends where the damage to an innocent party begins.
I'm not saying who's innocent in this case and who isn't; just answering Keglera's question in general terms that apply to all cases.
Man takes phone call complaint a little too far (WalletPop)
Jul 22nd 2009 12:53PM No one has ever said, "I want to be a telemarketer when I grow up!" People take these jobs out of desperation. I thank God that, even when I've been desperate, I've never had to take such a job. Even if you don't want to talk to telemarketers, treat them with respect. A simple, "Sorry, I'm not interested, good-bye" is sufficient. It is then businesslike to hang up because you've been polite enough to say "good-bye" first. Being rude or giving them a hard time just takes up more of YOUR time, and accomplishes no more than does "Sorry, I'm not interested, good-bye."
School Bans Pro-Life T-Shirt - Seventh Grader Sues (ParentDish)
Jul 8th 2009 11:59PM I've been pro-life since I was 10 years old (5th grade), and not because anybody told me what to think, cuz no one did. It was obvious to me that abortion was murder as soon as I heard what it was. This girl is the same age, so there's no reason she couldn't have the same understanding.
