Nov 20th 2009 4:46PM I use the US Postal Service for all overnight and priority shipments EXCEPT close to Christmas, especially since they deliver on Saturday without an extra charge.

My mother sent me an overnight express mail on December 23rd and it did not make it on December 24th. I finally received it that Saturday, which, if I remember correctly, was the 27th. Since it wasn't a gift she was sending, she sent me another one of the same item on the 24th, hoping I would get it on the 26th, and I actually received it the same day as the other, which still wasn't next day delivery. The post office said that everything was delayed due to the holiday. Well, isn't that why businesses hire extra "holiday" help?

So, in summary, in my opinion, the US Postal Service is great except at Christmas, unless you are sending the item 5 or so days in advance.

Nov 12th 2009 3:50PM Anyone who defends Carrie Prejean is just as demented and wacked out as she is. How many times did Larry have to tell her that he was NOT asking about the terms of the settlement, just why she decided to settle? Hardly inappropriate and pretty straight forward question in my book. I guess she's been programmed to use that term every time someone asks her something she doesn't like. "What's that big word again? In-uh-pro-pree-it? Cool, that'll make me sound real smart."

And who cares how many times Larry has been married. I'm sure if someone asked him about it, he'd answer without hesitation because I've never taken him as someone with anything to hide.

This sorry excuse for a beauty queen needs to get over herself and quit trying forcing herself on us. Unfortunately the media is partly to blame. So, to you media, tell her goodbye once and for all.

Jun 24th 2009 12:06PM Just as I said in my comments that appeared right after yours, if you think TO deserved it then you should think the WNBA player, I think her name is Lisa Leslie, deserved the same thing, if not worse for then going the wrong direction. Bottom line, Lisa wouldn't have deserved it if she would have lost; therefore, TO didn't deserve it either.

Jun 24th 2009 12:01PM I thought she was a total bitch and I was calling her worse things to the television. Poor sport is all she is. It was a fluke, him getting his foot stuck in the net. It's not like he couldn't get over the wall, or something more athletic like that. I personally don't think the net was a reflection of a persons' athleticism -- more coordination. SO, if she's gonna run him down so hard core for getting stuck in the net, go run down Lisa Leslie, is it, the WNBA basketball player, for 1 - getting her foot stuck in the net and 2 - going the wrong direction when she got unstuck. Thing is, Joanna wouldn't say that to Lisa, so TO didn't deserve it either. I was extremely, extremely pissed of at her behavior and completely commend him for his on-camera, at least, calmness.

The deaf woman that won Miss America a while back did a ballet dance as her talent; there used to be a deaf Oakland Raiders cheerleader; the most recent team of Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders included a deaf person. They obviously have their ways.

2. Leaving the dessert menu after I've already declined "just in case I change my mind."

Apr 18th 2007 1:56PM One other thing, I am 39 and get terrible acne. I get it from my period. About a week before I'm scheduled to start the breakouts, well, break out! I was told by a dermatologist about 6 years ago that he sees more women in their late 20s to early 30s for acne than teenagers, the menstrual cycle being one of the biggest culprits. So just a suggestion if you have acne problems, if you havne't already, compare your break outs to your period.
