Oct 10th 2009 2:53PM It sounds like a fellow employee and the boss were looking for an excuse to fire her. How ridiculous to fire someone over eating leftovers from a buffet SHE put out. It's getting harder these days to get and keep a job, especially with bosses like that. I fired my boss 10 years ago and never regretted it. Oct 22nd 2008 11:26AM First it was doughnut wars and now it's coffee wars. For awhile, Krispy Kreme was the leader over Dunkin' Donuts (Krispy Kreme doughnuts are incredible). Now Dunkin' is back (that egg white sandwich is a nice addition) and Krispy Kreme must be looking to boost business by offering coffee for five cents. Although it's tempting, I wonder if they chose the right area to do it. I can't imagine how 5 cent coffee will compete with the rich, delicious taste of Kona coffee in Hawaii. People from around the globe visit websites such as https://konaluna.com to buy Kona coffee and have it shipped to them direct. If you live in Hawaii, it's right there so I know I'd choose Kona coffee anyday, regardless of the price.
