'White Only' Pool Sign 'Decorative,' Landlord Claims (AOL Real Estate)
Dec 19th 2011 4:22PM Same old racist garbage, even bringing back one of those old "white only" signs. Historic? Yeah, right.
Man Has $50,000 Puck Shot Overturned? It Must Be a Movie (Fanhouse Main)
Feb 16th 2011 3:30PM That is a very weasel-like thing for the insurance company to do to get out of paying this guy. Very low-class and possibly illegal. Let's hear the name of the insurance company so we all know who to not do business with.
Russian truck transports plane through St. Petersburg streets (Gadling)
Jan 26th 2011 1:12AM Well, here's another weird but true story about a jet plane suddenly appearing on a road. It was about 30 years ago outside of Visalia, Calif., in farm and ranch country, and I was driving on the road. I approached a four-way stop amidst orange groves, and in disbelief I saw coming from my left a U.S. Navy A-4 Skyhawk attack jet being towed along the road by a pick-up truck! If you're not familiar with this type of jet, they are about 45 feet long, have a narrow wingspan; and is a compact, single-seat bomber. Let me tell you, it was a weird sight to see a Navy jet being towed on a single-lane road surrounded by orange groves on a quiet morning in the middle of nowhere, miles from any air field! I learned later that it was occasionally towed to public events as a recruiting tool.
Pilot Holds Plane for Grandfather Of Murdered Toddler (AOL Travel News)
Jan 13th 2011 11:49PM What can really be said? What a tragedy that this little boy suffered and died. But thank you to the Southwest Airlines pilot and other staff who delayed takeoff so this boy's grandpa could be there at the hospital when the boy was removed from life support. The pilot is a class act.
Nelson Brothers Issue Statement About 'Uncle' David Nelson's Death (Spinner)

Better Ways to Spend $40 Than on Pajama Jeans (WalletPop)
Jan 8th 2011 4:56AM Yes, you are certainly lazy if you wear clothes to the store or other public places that you just slept in. Do you bother combing your hair or brushing your teeth too?
Bison Bash (MyDaily)
Jul 22nd 2010 4:08PM A few years ago, my kids and I were about to eat at a picnic table in Yellowstone when a bison suddenly walked up from the brush and started sniffing the food on our table. We immediately backed off and stood away, but then other tourists started stopping their cars and got very close to the bison, taking pictures. When a couple of people started walking toward it as if to pet it, I yelled that bison have killed or badly injured visitors in the past. I couldn't believe how dumb some people are, as if wildlife like this are tame farm animals in a petting barnyard. Bison will charge and trample you if they feel threatened. The lady in this video showed the same lack of common sense.

Is Listed Home a Crime Scene? How to Know Before You Buy (Housingwatch)
Jun 4th 2010 11:43AM I'm a California resident and our state has some strict disclosure laws. As the California realtor in the story noted, the seller must disclose if a death has occurred on the property within the past three years. Beyond three years of a death, if the buyer asks, the seller must also disclose it. In addition to this, if the home has a reputation for being haunted -- however this is subjective and open to interpretation as to whether it is a "material fact" -- there is a possibility of this having to be disclosed.
Robin Hood -- Mythical Vigilante or Just a Hood? (Asylum)
May 14th 2010 5:18PM Enough of the stinking politics. This was a movie review. So old about all the lame political commentary in the posts.
