Anderson Cooper Blasts New Vince Vaughn Trailer (PopEater)

Oct 8th 2010 2:16PM @Jariah,
Stop being so gay about it. Yeesh...you guys hijacked the word "gay" to begin with. It used to mean "happy" Hanging out with the Flinstones and having a "gay old time" didn't mean that Barney was boning Fred in the butt-rock. It is just queer (meaning strange) that people get so wrapped up in a word. If you have a problem with people using the word, go back to your original word "homo-sexual" Words that are ok to use:
Whitey, Honkey, Cracker, Teabagger, Right-wing lunatic...

So a hurtful word is ok to use as long as it isn't against YOUR group? That's just gay! Hope everyone has a gay (meaning happy) weekend!

Impossible Shot (MyDaily)

Oct 1st 2010 4:27PM Danny,
You shouldn't go calling anyone stupid. I think the people are correct with the theory that they meant the actual distance the ball traveled (at an angle toward the hoop). At 150 feet, the guy would have had to have thrown the ball up an additional 66 feet to get to 72 yards. (I know you must be really smart since you are calling people stupid, but to explain, a "yard" is a fancy word for "3 feet" 72 yards = 216 feet. 216 feet minus 150 feet = 66 feet. That is the distance he would have had to have thrown the ball upwards for your theory)...my god

The Most Famous and Notorious Insane Asylums in History (Asylum)

Feb 17th 2010 3:52PM Mr Taylor,
Just curious, you listed McLean, however, you do not go in to any description of what makes it notorious. All of the other hospitals you've given details on alleged hauntings, or at least the sordid history. Why was this ommited from McLean's? I'm a local (I drive through Belmont every day on my way to work) and I've heard different urban myths about the hauntings. Do you have any documented ones you could add?

Thanks,
SJ

Saint or Monster, Elizabeth Edwards Isn't the Issue (Politics Daily)

Jan 19th 2010 3:34PM Way to ruin your credibility by bringing poltics in to it Lizzie. If this wasn't someone that hurt the democractic party would you be so harsh on them? Can you tell ya maybe lost a lot of people with your "elderly statesman" and "moose-dressing" comment? Way to stick to the topic at hand.

New Mexico Women's Soccer Suspends Elizabeth Lambert (Fanhouse Backporch)

Nov 6th 2009 5:17PM Ok, not that she didn't go overboard, but like people have pointed out on message boards, every action was reactionary. Some of the plays shown in the highlights were legal as far as soccer goes (slide tackles, etc). The others, when she elbowed the girl in the back, the BYU player had elbowed her in the stomach first. When she pulled the BYU players hair, the BYU player was grabbing at her uniform and doing who knows what to her (looks like she may have been trying to grab a fist full of crotch). BYU was not completely innocent in all of this.

I Hate My Hit! 10 Songs Disowned by the People Who Made Them Famous (Spinner)

Oct 26th 2009 12:37PM Considering the people that bought their CD back in 1985 are the ones that contribute revenue for their profession, than yes...it kind of is "their job" and those people are sort of in charge. If these full of themselves celebrities want to tell their fans to go screw by not playing the fans' favorite songs at their concerts, then hopefully fans stop showing up to the concerts and they don't make any more money

Nothing personal: Two grocery chains attempt to ban check-writing customers (Daily Finance)

Oct 19th 2009 1:49PM Actually Linda, I don't have any children. And I'm not old enough to be on medicare. I basically don't use any government services other than the ones everyone uses (highways, police, fire dept) etc, so really...no one is footing the bill for me so I really don't feel I "owe" anyone anything. When I'm a senior citizen, I will pay with whatever method is the norm at the time. I'm not going to hold people up because I want to use my old antiquated ways.

In any case, if you're saying I "owe" old people because they put children (me at one point) through school, that's fine...but let's remember that they are just paying back society, as someone put them through at some point too. But judge me however you want. I'm not the one wasting everyone's time in the check out line for no good reason, other than the fact that I can.

Nine-Year-Old Oliver Wahlstrom Scores Incredible Shootout Goal in Boston (Fanhouse NHL Blog)

Oct 19th 2009 12:53PM Hi "hi,"
I wanted to read your post, I really did...but boy was it long. I'll be honest, got bored about a 10th of the way through, then read your last couple sentences that was a tirade of name calling.

Why do you have to go calling people names? The guy from Minnesota and Fahded didn't call the kid names. They simply stated the fact that what had happened has been done before. It has been overhyped, which is really more of a commentary on AOL than on the kid. There is a big difference between saying it has been done before and "bashing" the 9 year old. In any case, I think the length of your post really shows who has no life and WAY too much free time.
