Heath Ledger's 'The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus' Trailer Debuts (Moviefone Blog)

Aug 13th 2009 12:26AM I totally disagree. Mr. Ledger showed charm in "A Knight's Tale" and "Casanova"; Intensity in "Monster's Ball"; Range and talent in "Brokeback Mountain," "Candy," "I'm Not There," and "The Dark Knight." Consider that in 2005 he appeared in four wildly different films, including "Casanova," "Brokeback Mountain," "Lords of Dogtown," and "The Brothers Grimm." It isn't a case of elevating an actor because he died. He received an Academy Award nomination for "Brokeback Mountain" and glowing reviews for several other films well before his untimely death.

Heath Ledger's 'The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus' Trailer Debuts (Moviefone Blog)

Aug 12th 2009 10:49PM This looks fantastic! Not only do we get Heath Ledger's final role, but Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell. Also, Christopher Plummer (could he finally get an Oscar nod?). Looks creative and entertaining.

Modest Mouse Debut Video Directed by Heath Ledger (Spinner)

Aug 5th 2009 1:12PM Annee, the difference here is that Ledger wasn't an addict the way that Jackson was. He was having trouble sleeping, etc., and he wound up accidentally taking too many pills because he was getting them in different countries while he traveled. Read the articles about his death to find out about it.

Those who want a last glimpse of Heath Ledger himself will have to wait for the release of his final film, "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus." It also stars Johnny Depp and Jude Law, who stepped in after Ledger died to complete the film, which was directed by Terry Gilliam and will be out next year.

Internet Makes Men Happy, Survey Says (Switched)

Oct 7th 2008 6:11PM The people on here who gag at the thought of sexual images are most likely secretly turned on by them. I mean, when you are single it is natural to want to "get off" and that's how men do it, with the internet. It's better than anonymous, dangerous sex with a stranger. I do think something's wrong, though, if guys are doing that (often) when they have a perfectly attractive man or woman at home to make love to.

Sarah Palin wants to be one of the cool SNL kids (AOL TV)

Oct 7th 2008 4:51PM I was just thinking the other day that it would fun if Sarah Palin guested on SNL. She should do it. Just for fun.

I don't care about Obama's middle name. Regardless of what it is, he's not good for this country. He's got poor judgement, as evidenced by his alliances with people like Ayers and Wright, Rezko. He's been campaigning half of his term in the Senate, wouldn't support the Live Birth Bill that would have protected babies born in botched abortions, and didn't support the surge in Iraq. The only thing we know he's good at is making a great speech about nothing. He's no JFK, he's no Reagan and he's no President I would trust. The truth is that if a white guy were running on the same record and the same skills, he wouldn't even be the nominee. Colin Powell would probably get my vote if he ran, so it's not race that worries me, it's character.
