Obama on Health: Stunning Arrogance or the Edmund Burke Theory of Leadership? (Politics Daily)
Mar 4th 2010 2:07PM Yes, next election let's put the Republicans back in charge. They did such a great job with their last administration. Not ONE, but TWO wars, doubled the national debt, and catered to Wall Street and the rich -- as usual! Let's get this straight -- BOTH of these parties have outlived their usefulness! They are BOTH responsible for the mess our country is in. Choosing one over the other is like choosing between being bashed over the head with a baseball bat or a hammer -- either way, you end up with a headache! Vote for a third party or write in a candidate of your choice. It may not change anything, but MAYBE Washington will finally get the message that we're fed up!
GOP Tells Obama to Start Over on Health Care; Harry Reid Fires Back (Politics Daily)
Feb 25th 2010 3:45PM This cracks me up! If we would spend money on health care, where would the TRILLIONS come from the next time we have to bail out the crooks on Wall Street? You will notice they want to make it MANDATORY for everyone to buy insurance! Does anyone else realize the Insurance Companies are laughing the whole way to the bank? The funny things is this: Everyone seems to have forgotten that BOTH the Democrats AND Republicans have run our nation into the ground! And STILL people stick up for these people! You would think it's nothing more than wanting your TEAM to win regardless of what it means for the country.
We have over 20,000 people DIE in this country every year because they can't get access to the medical treatment to keep them alive! AND, don't forget, MOST OF THESE PEOPLE HAVE INSURANCE! The insurance industry finds loopholes to AVOID paying for their treatment so it won't cut into their profits! And STILL Washington bickers about it while TAXPAYERS DIE!
That's because there's only ONE party in Washington -- the party of money! If we wanted REAL change in Washington, we should have elected Ron Paul!
U.S. Considering Nationwide Internet Access Plan (Switched)
Feb 2nd 2010 10:25AM I may be mistaken, but I THOUGHT we were already paying a surcharge for Internet access for years now. This was SUPPOSED to pay for new fiber optic lines. So let's see -- now we get to pay AGAIN! It makes you wonder where all that surcharge money went!
This is like the SIX different taxes I pay for my telephone landline! Pay and then pay again, and again, and again! You have to hand it to them -- this is quite a racket!
Roger Ebert to Rush Limbaugh: 'You Should Be Horse-Whipped' (PopEater)
Jan 15th 2010 5:53PM I don't have a problem helping the people suffering in Haiti, BUT I AM wondering how many millions are going to get donated to the people of the United States THAT ARE LIVING IN TENTS!
Phelps' Bong Pops Up On eBay, Leads to Arrests (Switched)
Feb 14th 2009 12:12PM We need these people investigating Wall Street! Then MAYBE we can get something done to the people that committed the FRAUD that caused the economic meltdown! At least we know the world is safe from pot smokers!

Supreme Court Won't Review Obama's POTUS Eligibility, Birth Certificate (Politics Daily)
Dec 9th 2008 12:16PM What I can't understand is why no one is asking WHY the people on Wall Street that broke the law by selling worthless securities aren't being prosecuted. I believe that's called FRAUD and now the entire nation has to pay for it. As far as a birth certificate goes - what does it matter? Democrat or Republican we still get to foot the bill for someone's rich buddies. Obama and the other candidates promised no more catering to special interest groups - so what do you call Wall Street and the financial institutions? These people have perpetrated the biggest fraud in history and NONE of them are being prosecuted!
Government agency overseeing banks criticizes bank fees (WalletPop)
Dec 4th 2008 12:06PM I always thought robbery was against the law, but I guess it's legal if you're a bank! Take a look at the way they're jacking up interest rates on credit cards even for people with perfect credit ratings. It isn't unusual to hear of people having a 12% interest rate skyrocket to 30% for no reason whatsoever. This should be criminal, but considering we are already bailing these people out for THEIR poor financial judgment, it's also unconscionable! The big question on everyone's mind should be - Why isn't Congress doing anything about it?
Paying a credit card on the due date? Don't wait until the afternoon. (WalletPop)
Dec 3rd 2008 2:15PM If you haven't figured it out yet, this is the banking industry's way of getting YOU to pay for the mess they've gotten themselves into with their pathological greed! They've lost a lot of money and so they arbitrarily raise their interest rates to hand YOU the bill for THEIR mistakes! They even have the help of Congress that let usuary laws go to pot! To thank the taxpayers, Congress is now handing over a TRILLION DOLLARS to Wall Street and the financial institutions to bail them out! They are hoarding the money and doing NOTHING to open up the credit market. THIS is supposed to get our economy moving again! Absolute insanity!
