Opinion: What's Up With All These Out-of-Control, Bullying Parents? (ParentDish)

Feb 24th 2011 9:15PM First off, the writer must have misunderstood how the boys were playing with the toys. From what I read, she seems to think they were toys played with while bathing, hence the 'rubber ducky' reference. I know what the toys are and how they were being played with. NOT bath time toys. I suppose she could have simply thrown the toys away and 'saved her children' from the mental anguish of taking responsibility for their actions. But what would they have learned?
When I was a child, if I didn't use the kickstand on my bicycle and just laid it on the ground, my father would come and drag me by the ear and make me put it up properly. Am I 'emotionally scarred? No! But I did LEARN to use the kickstand on the bike.

To Fly or Not to Fly? (AOL Travel News)

Apr 28th 2010 11:52AM Then of course we choose to ride our motorcycle on vacation if at all possible. So much better than anything else!

Young Designer Uses 'Normal-Sized' Models at London Fashion Week - Casting Director and Stylist Walk Out (Stylelist)

Sep 22nd 2009 10:49AM I'm so happy that there is a 'real' designer out there who thinks in terms of 'real' women!! I know, even a shirt I bought at a Harley Davidson shop was marked 'xl' even though I'm not fat! You would think that a motorcycle shop would have clothes sized for 'real' women, not boys with bumps on their chests.

Break Out in Song: Flash Mob Musicals Shock and Delight New Yorkers (Urlesque)

Aug 5th 2009 8:53AM And we all thought that those people breaking into song and dance in the middle of shopping etc. on those movies was silly! It looks like such great fun! Thanks so much for sharing!!

Woman Denied Hospital Bed Gives Birth at Home (Lemondrop)

Jul 28th 2009 9:22AM That's just it, cancer patients probably WON'T get treated under a system like say England has. You're basically just sent home to die.

Woman Denied Hospital Bed Gives Birth at Home (Lemondrop)

Jul 28th 2009 9:08AM Yes, they really do death counseling. If you are sick and are not expected to get better, as in you have cancer, you don't get life saving treatments, you get to prepare to die. It costs too much money to try to keep you alive. It's true. No lie.

Jul 28th 2009 9:00AM I'm sorry, NPW, but government bureaucrats CANNOT be voted out of their job as they are either hired or appointed. Not elected. Only your senator and representatives are elected. THEY will not be running your 'public option' healthcare.

Man takes phone call complaint a little too far (WalletPop)

Jul 22nd 2009 8:53AM Not to take anyone's 'side' especially a telemarketer, but I'm guessing that no one actually read the article. It said that he received mail solicitation and HE CALLED THEM to tell them not to send their stuff any more. That's when things to a turn for the worse. I don't blame the guy for getting pissed. I get tired of those scam artists thinking they can fool me. And caller ID comes in handy for all of them. If they don't want to leave a message, I don't need to talk to them!

Harley-Davidson continues to misfire, will cut 1,000 more jobs (Daily Finance)

Jul 18th 2009 3:50PM Harley started losing it when they decided that 'older' bikes shouldn't be seen in their shops. Except as decorations! Try getting them to look at an older bike! My brother has a 1985 sporty and they won't let him in the door! My bro-in-law has an evo dresser and it's the same thing! Despite all the chrome and custom work on my sporty, they won't let it in either! They told my brother they didn't want 'rat' bikes in their shop. His looks like it just came from the showroom! They don't want our business, they can lose their a** like they deserve to!! Oh, and my brother lives in Seattle, and my bro-in-law in Kansas, so don't say it's just that shop! It's all of them! Greed is one of the seven deadly sins for a reason.

Burlington Coat Factory: Pulling the wool over our eyes (WalletPop)

Mar 11th 2009 4:50PM Name brands are for people who think name brands are important. Or for people to make themselves feel important. All 'name brands' really do is make the name on the brand richer and the person buying it poorer. Clothes are truly nothing more than protection from the elements for our bodies. "Fashion" is crap for people with more money than sense. Or at least less sense than what money they have.
