Mar 21st 2011 7:06PM This article just described virtually every day-care kid I have met. Kids are not taught to sit down, concentrate/focus and behave. Drugging them is not an alternative to parenting. There are a few who are clinically hyper but that only accounts for 2% of the kids being medicated at the advice of a teacher.

Aug 30th 2010 6:11PM Most homeowners will overlook an occassional indiscretion by a neighbor's dog. No one wants bad blood between neighbors. I walk my dogs and pick up after them. I suppose I am lucky because almost all of my neighbors are dog owners and don't mind the dogs sniffing around the yards. I have picked up other dog's poo as well to prevent problems. I think most of the problem stems from people's attitudes. Your neighbor could have been having a morning straight from hell and just lashed out at you. If someone likes you, they will overlook small things even on a bad day.

Aug 29th 2010 6:49AM Mikki-my initial comment wasn't aimed at you. It was aimed at the people who make disparaging remarks about those who purchase designer bags. It amazes me when people go to luxury websites to ridicule their subscribers. Who (other than children) does that?

"A"-it is sad that you have nothing to do other than dig through my old posts. When I shared the problems I had with my step-daughter I was hoping someone might be able to use that to learn what not to do. I can only think that perhaps you are a child yourself if you did not get that. If my advice is unwanted, by all mean, please stop looking for it and commenting on it.
