She'll get over it. Sure, it's a nasty thing to do. Yes, I don't like it or wish it upon anyone but keep things in perspective. It's not the end of her world and I'm sure they'll catch whoever did it.

There will always be a degree of sexism, discrimination, etc. going on in any profession that was historically all male and is now mixed gender. It's just a fact. It's rampant in the military, police and fire depts. to name a few. Rules are there to try to minimize it but examples such as this young lady will always happen.

If in fact a conversation is going on with this as the subject I would question how "great" the conversation is. Are those our only two choices. Hmmmm. Bad for women or male fantasy. Which is it? I don't know. I say that because as a man, I can't really have a serious opinion about whether a particular woman is bad for other women. I feel that's best answered by women. If I really cared about this, I would take issue with any man writing or reporting about what is good or bad for women. Was it a slow news day today?

Jan 11th 2009 4:41AM Ah yes. Those were the days. Saw Zep live in Chicago in, I want to say, 78'. They were booked for 3 nights but only played 1. Although Jimmy could hardly stand on 2 feet, his guitar was oh so sweet as the laser beams swirled around him in a tornado of light. Awesome. Will always give me cold chills. Who are we to judge when greatness should end. We all want them to play forever but know they can't. A tour would be nice but it wouldn't fit the times. I'm 56 and can still hit the high notes.....in the shower. Peace.

Sep 5th 2008 8:54PM I understand male voters shouldn't be able to debate abortion rights. I believe the slaughter of innocent life should be debated by everybody. To spend such an insane amount of money to defend a woman's right to kill is just absurd. I think the money would be better spent in areas of education and prevention of unwanted pregnancies, and adoption.

That's the same reason why they are the worst. Just because you have to drive for a living doesn't make you a good driver. It just makes you a rather under-educated driver. Oh yea, I forgot. You don't have to drive truck, you do it because you want to. Got it.
