Aug 8th 2007 7:03AM I had a pang of anxiety reading this.
When my son was 18 months, and I was putting pajamas on him, his fingernail, cut my cornea. I was put on codeine, beause of the pain. It healed, but reocurred many times. Finally, an opthamologist, chemically,burned away
the outer layer of my eye, in hopes it woudn't reoccur again. It hasn't, but I was in such agony, that reading this article w/people willingly endangering
their eyesight, has my stomach doing flips. There has to be better ways for them to get their "kicks."
