The New Homeless: Living Behind the Wheel (AOL Real Estate)

Dec 2nd 2011 2:22AM As a Christian, I believe that God really tries to help people when they're in a hard situation. Family is really important. I haven't been that successful with my jobs that I've held in the amount of money I've made but I did finish college which without my faith it would have been much more difficult. I didn't get a job in my field but I should have kept at it more. I had four biotech interviews and one offered me a job but it was not for very much money. I also was offered a job at Bank of America where my brother use to work but it wasn't for that much money either but a little more. I did carpet/upholestry cleaning for six years and then dominos pizza delivery driver for four. Now I was diagnozed with schizophrenia and was able to eventually get social security disability and section eight housing, but it took awhile. And it's not like you have it your mind that there is such a thing as section eight housing help from HUD which was started in the 1960's. But I'm very grateful for it. Especially section 8 housing help which contributes to my rent about 452 dollars a month. No food stamps though I did have them for a couple of years. And I also get my medicare premium of around 96 dollars paid for by the state of Oregon. My risperdal shot costs around 800 dollars every two weeks but is very helpful for me. Which I didnt have until 2005 when medicare part d passed (prescription drug coverage). Which I prayed for it too pass. :-) Fortunately risperdal is off patent now and generics are being prepared. One is being made in Israel. If you read the old testament in the bible,(directed towards Jewish people), mostly. It reads that if you turn away from God he will make more and more bad things happen to you according to the wickedness of thy doings on the Earth (Deuteronomy chapter 28). I think if she reevaluated and turned to public assistance(she should be able to get some welfare I think)and turned to God he would probably help get a job that paid more than minimum wage. I think that if your grateful to him for the things that you have and take care of them and use them he will bring more and more things into your life to be grateful to him for. Some churches have limited rental assistance available each month too. And there's 211 you can call in some cities and states which helps coordinate assistance for people facing homelessness or are homeless, directing people to shelters for example. And some assistance available to pay for rent and I think even to help people get an apartment, I think. In the book of John Jesus (in my own words) talks about he who comes to me will never go hungry or be thirsty. :-).

Goodbye Power Cords: Intel Testing Wireless Power (Switched)

Aug 23rd 2008 10:16PM I was speculating one day that explosion motors (chemical or nuclear or more powerful,[see the galactic sun in the middle of our galaxy] might always power electrical and "antigravity?" generators/motors. We're really powered by our sun and heat generated by the Earth itself I think. :-)

Wireless sending of electricity could be a good thing but 25% loss of efficiency at just three feet doesnt sound that good.
