Cheryl Burke and Kirstie Alley Snub Chris Brown Backstage at 'Dancing' (PopEater)

Mar 30th 2011 7:01PM I think that is a horrible thing for a man to hit a woman. But I find it had to see any credibility in Ms. Rhianna when she has two songs in a row that tells how she likes it. There was the song with Eminem where she says, "Just gonna stand there and hit me back, That's alright because I like the way it hurts...." and now the "S&M" song about how she likes whips and chains. It is a sad fact that there are some women who actually LIKE being abused. And I hope those women are able to get the help they need, because it's sick. Just what kind of horrible treatment did such women recieve to be so twisted? It makes my blood boil when I think of how my wife's first husband treated her. When I found out I told her that would never happen to her again. And until the day she died she never had to worry about being treated that way. And the double standard displayed by women like Rhianna really makes it hard on those who are like my dear departed wife. I hope Rhianna gets the help she seems to need.

Best Band Logos: No. 1 (Spinner)

Feb 18th 2008 9:08PM The list should have included Grand Funk Railraod's "Pointing Finger" logo which made its first appearance on their "We're An American Band" album in 1973.

Rescue From Recession: Obama Responds (Politics Daily)

Jan 25th 2008 8:31AM Phillip,
The replies given by "Nancy Russo" and "Linda" were more than enough to answer my question about Obama and the Pledge. If Obama had truly refused to say the Pledge, it would have been a legitimate concern. But now that I know the concern was not founded in fact, I consider the matter settled. As for your suggestion that I not vote, if you believe you have the right to stop those who do not agree with you from voting, I invite you to move to a country ruled by a dictatorship or a Communist government. I WILL vote, and if I find that Obama is the best choice, then it will be for him. And if it is for someone else, then it will be. I encourage you to do the same, even if I end up not agreeing with you.

The Trippiest Optical Illusions on the Net! (Switched)

Oct 21st 2007 5:07PM For me it moved both ways. It would go clockwise, then counter-clockwise. I didn't blink or scroll or do anything. It would just change while I was looking at it.

Gadget Silences Noisy Neighborhood Dogs (Switched)

Sep 26th 2007 7:45AM My neighbor's dog used to bark at me every time
I went out into my back yard. I went to the fence and TALKED to the dog, and made friends with him. Now "Mr. Barkley" doesn't bark at me. He just wanted someone to talk to him.

Southern Sweet Tea (AOL Food Blog)

Jul 18th 2007 10:13PM As a Southerner, I like sweet tea, but only one cup of sugar per gallon. And for the past couple of years I have been using 18 packets of Splenda or Nutra-sweet
per gallon instead of sugar. As for lemon, forget it! I like to taste the tea. Adding lemon ruins it for me.

Screenwriter Feels Rotten About U-571 Alterations (Cinematical)

Aug 20th 2006 3:13PM I saw, the movie back when it came out, and while I enjoyed it, I knew at the time that it was actually
the British who were the heroes. As an American, I would like to say to the British that I think it was inexcuseable to portray the heroes in the movie as
American when they were in fact British. Movie studios should never EVER re-write history in such a manner, and Universal should be reprimanded for doing
so.

Thanks to the brave acts of members of the British Navy, the Germans may have been prevented form developing an atomic bomb first. Shame on Universal!!
