Google Earth Study Shows Cows Usually Point North (Switched)

Aug 26th 2008 2:22PM Your point brought up a question...If this study brought about the north/south facing thing, then....Have they done a study of herds in the southern hemisphere? Do the cows down there face more south/north?
If I asked this, then one of the douche bags that used google earth(tm) should have asked this 10 minutes after finding these results.
Which, in fact, could have sparked the greatest upheaval in science to date. If the cows in the southern hemisphere do in fact face south, then it is entirely possible that they, millions of years ago, set the earth in motion to it's current tilted axis and simply my farting methane gas towards what we now know as the equator. Northern cows farting to the south, southern cows farting to the north.
....Either that, or they just want to move so the sun isn't in their eyes!

Joey Cheek, Speed Skating Gold Medalist and Critic of China, Barred From Olympics (Fanhouse Olympics Blog)

Aug 6th 2008 4:29PM 1 person & this much outcry. While everyone sticks to their morals and beliefs (as you should), try to see a wider picture here. It plays into your hands.
The story about Joey will die a quick death, with not much backlash...you all must know this. Don't watch or root your country throughout the coming weeks. The truth is that 4 years ago when the games were awarded to China, it couldn't have been a better outcome for those wanting the world to see how China has acted in the past, and now. How much worldwide attention has come to them in the 4 years? How many protests all over the world have been staged with the flame coming through?
If the games were awarded to another city, the only major thing we would have heard about is an earthquake.
Maybe the last 4 years are a beginning to something new there.
We can hope.
I, for one, will be watching & rooting on the U.S.A.
