Feb 20th 2011 9:35AM NAFTA was signed into law on December 17, 1992, by George W. Bush. Talks had begun in 1988 between the USA, Canada, and Mexico, right after the USA signed a trade bill with Canada. Easy to blame clinton, but it was Bush senior who designed and implemented NAFTA.

Feb 10th 2011 2:42PM In our hometown, you must pay to dispose of the new bulbs on hazardous disposal day, which is held one day per year in the Fall. Paint, computers, light bulbs, tires, cell phones etc, all cost, and are charged per item, its very expensive.

Many toss them in the regular trash, or on the sides of roads. Does wonders for the environment. Maybe the government should have thought out the disposal process before mandating the replacement of incadescent bulbs.

We've stockpiled what we hope will be enough incadescent bulbs to last until our death.

Better yet, lets lock everyone in rubber rooms, than no falling out of beds, hammocks, slipping in the bath, falling down stairs, etc.
