City Revokes Employee Texting Plans (Switched)

Jul 21st 2008 9:30AM I teach school and don't want to be disturbed while I am in class. I also volunteer with Emergency Management and text is how the Operations Center communicates with me. For example I feel the vibration and check the phone. If it is not important I continue on. If Our school is in danger I contact administration via my radio and depending on the problem I may have to leave. So text does have it's place.
