Ten Ways Technology Can Help You Lose Weight (and Keep It Off) (Switched)

May 28th 2008 9:42AM If you are looking for a free weight loss site, I highly recommend sparkpeople.com. It's a free site and has great tools to aid in weight loss...including a food and fitness tracker. I've lost 48 lbs and have been maintaining my weight for 6 months with online support of other members and the coaches who are a part of the site.

Nickelodeon tells kids to turn off the TV, go outside and play (That's Fit)

Oct 4th 2007 9:50AM I think this was a great thing that Nickolodeon did. For those parents out there that are mad about them taking the whole afternoon off...get a grip! My kids also have homework and other activities during the week. They barely watch TV due to these reasons BUT that still isn't a reason to plop your kids in front of the TV for the WHOLE DAY!! Let them watch TV for 2 hrs in the a.m. then go outside. After lunch you can still let them watch another channel for 1 hr then go back OUTSIDE. If you didn't want to watch or play with your kids outside, then maybe you shouldn't have had kids.

Exclusive Louis Vuitton Handbag Heading to Washington (Luxist)

Aug 24th 2007 10:22AM Though I do think that a bag for $52,000 is insane, I do think that we should let the celebrities have their fun. There were a couple of comments that say that Beyonce should consider the amount and give it away in donations. For all you know she already does give much more away in charity than $52,000. That's just a drop in the bucket to her. Goodness, there are even some celebrities that spend more than that just for an overnight stay in some penthouse, that they don't even get to keep. At least this bag is hers!!

PepsiCo encroaches on Coke's turf at McDonald's (BloggingStocks)

Mar 14th 2007 9:52AM I like Pepsi over Coke but I think that the article is really expressing that Pepsi offers more variety of the non-carbonated drinks that McDonald's is looking for. If I go to a McDonald's, I get a sprite or a root beer not a Coke.

Goodbye Tuesday Night Book Club (AOL TV)

Jun 27th 2006 11:02PM I am really disappointed if they decide not to air the rest of the episodes. I sat down tonight at 10 pm all ready to watch the show, and found 48 hours on instead. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I immediately came online to find out why. CBS...please bring it back!! It's hard to start watching something and then not knowing how things are going to end.
