Mother of 'Genderless' Baby Storm Speaks Out (ParentDish)

May 31st 2011 6:11PM There are so many couples out there wanting children and would give anything to become parents, and look at some of the whack jobs that are too fertile and want to birth genderless children.
There is nothing wrong with teaching a boy to be a boy and a girl to be a girl. I agree that some things need to be neutal like letting both sexes enjoy textures and all colors, etc. but this Mother is a little extreme... umm no, she is just flipping CRAZY!!!!

George Lopez Apologizes to Kirstie Alley on Twitter (PopEater)

Apr 5th 2011 12:06PM George isn't exactly sporting a lean chisled body himself. He might try looking in the mirror before attempting cheap shots at someone else.

House Trends: Is This the End of the Living Room? (DIY Life)

Mar 21st 2011 8:49PM I never had a living room growing up, but I wanted one because every time we had an unexpected visitor we had to scramble around like crazy people to straighten up our family room.
I actually have a living room now, but it rarely gets used, so I can see how people would view it as wasting square footage.
I guess people aren't visiting each other like they once did.

FarmVille Users Can Now Grow 'Organic' Digital Crops (Switched)

Jul 19th 2010 1:03AM I think this idea of an organic crop on FV is cute. I would rather Zynga get money from advertisers then me, because even though I play FV alot I refuse to buy any "farm cash".
Why do I play FV? I find it takes away some of my stress after a long day. Some of the video games my kids play feel like work, and I am trying to unwind. FV is perfect for that. Some people have a glass of wine or jump in the hot tub to relax. I plant a few virtual crops. Whatever works, right?

The Doggie Diaries - Should We Be Using a Dog Crate? (Pawnation OLD)

Jul 10th 2010 8:43PM I have 3 doxies, and when I brought them home as puppies I did use the crate to help potty train them. I didn't want to use pads so I was training them to go outside. It helped me make potty time a routine thing, because as long as you have the correct size your dog will not potty in the crate.
My doxies don't use the crate much anymore. One of them does prefer to sleep in his at night, but my female doxies prefer to be free to cuddle with us.

San Francisco Bans Soda in Vending Machines (AOL Health)

Jul 10th 2010 2:59PM There is also a direct link in the rise of obesity and the use of high fructose corn syrup in soda pop. Maybe instead of playing "big brother" to the people of San Fran, they might want to look in to ALL the reasons that people are becoming obese.

Maggots Force US Airways Flight to Return to Gate in Atlanta (AOL Travel News)

Jul 1st 2010 9:23PM Umm... maggots just don't happen from a sub sandwich stuck in baggage a few hours earlier. First there is rotting meat(meat takes awhile to rot) which attracts flies. The smell excites them so they have fly sex. Then pregnant teenage fly gorges on spoiled meat until her due date, she lays hundreds of eggs on this wonderful piece of spoiled meat that will feed her huge family, in 8 to 20 hours her eggs hatch her little maggots. Then the cycle starts all over again.
Seems like a strange story to me !!!

"Green" Shopping Bags Carry More Than Food (Slashfood)

Jun 26th 2010 1:09PM If you are supposed to wash "green" shopping bags after every market trip and use extra water, detergent and energy. How is that better then using the plastic ones or the paper ones, as long as you recycle them?

The Doggie Diaries: Pippi's Vexing Vet Visit (Pawnation OLD)

Apr 18th 2010 6:25PM I don't know if your vet was over the top or not. The one thing that seemed very obvious to me was that the vet made you feel uncomfortable and it is very unprofessional to make pet parents feel like they aren't doing everything possible for their furry kids. Please go to a vet that makes you and your pet as comfortable as possible.
Holistic vets are an option and I do believe herbs work in humans as well as animals, but the same warning applies here as well, holistic vets can over do treatments as well as a normal vet.
Good luck in finding a vet for you pet!! They are out there, believe me!!

Doing a credit card chargeback, even once, can lead to blacklist (WalletPop)

Mar 4th 2010 8:45AM Someone stole my info through iTunes and downloaded over $400 worth of stuff. My bank was perplexed why iTunes didn't reverse the charges but made my bank do a charge back, which actually cost iTunes a fee.
I have since taken my card info out of iTunes and download things by using gift certificates.
