Study Suggests Adding Spices to Meat Cuts Cancer Risk (AOL Health)
May 24th 2010 12:51PM God made us meateaters? ROFLMAO If he did, then why did he make it cause cancer? Trying to get rid of us? If so, why did he "create" us in the first place. And yes, we're all going to die someday, but why rush it? I guarantee , as you get closer to that day you'll wish you had done things differently.
Stroller Review: UPPAbaby G-Lite (ParentDish)
Apr 2nd 2010 12:19AM The term "anchor babies" is a sick term used by ignorant people that don't have the sense god gave a marble. That's like saying your child was nothing but someone to catch a spouse with. You wanting him or her to grow up reading that? Oh, an idiot like you probably doesn't care.
Mennonite College Ends Its Ban of Playing National Anthem at Athletic Events (ParentDish)
Feb 24th 2010 11:20PM Apparently, to some of the posters on here, in this country we have the freedom only to do what you want. I think it's stupid to play the national anthem at sporting events. But, if that's what someone wants, it's fine. But if someone doesn't want to, that's fine too. I thought that's what this country stood for?
By the way, it's hard as hell for most people to sing, it didn't even become the national anthem until 1931, it's to the tune of an old British drinking song and I'll bet not one person out of a hundred can correctly give you more than the first of the four verses. So quit showing all your fake patriotism. Sheesh!
Secret tricks of restaurant menus: Why you may be enticed to spend more (WalletPop)
Jan 19th 2010 2:00PM Actually, I disagree. All stores try to make their wares stand out. Why would you want to buy something that was not attractive? Cars are not designed as much for practicality as for appeal. Houses, packaging, clothes..... You likely wouldn't go back to a merchant that wasn't appealing. The consumer should be aware of what happens and smart enough to get what he, or she, wants, not what is promoted.
China unveils world's fastest high-speed train (Gadling)
Dec 29th 2009 10:27AM I guess you'd be happy living at the standard of living the averagae Chinese lives at too. It's easy to make halfassed statements and ignore the real facts.
Puppy Nips Owner, Animal Control Imposes Quarantine (Pawnation OLD)
Dec 9th 2009 7:05PM Rabies is a terrible disease and once you have it very, very few people survive. While the chance this pup had it is very low, are you willing to bet your life on it? Your only hope, without the quarintine, is very painful shots in the stomach. So, I don't blame the health dept for their caution. HOWEVER, since the law does provide for home confinement, absent any reason, which is not mentioned in the story, not to do so, I don't see why they aren't allowing the homeowner to confine the dog. After all, who has a greater stake in it than they do, both for their health and the dogs well being.

Woman Pregnant with 14th Child Will Keep Going Until She Has Twins (BV Black Spin)
Nov 25th 2009 11:24PM She has 14, maybe more. If each of them only have 4, then the 3rd generation will be 56, plus the 14, plus the 2, at total of 72 people. Think of the drain on the planet. It is very selfish. It shows a lack of concern for her offspring and for the rest of the people in the world. We shouldn't glorify such silliness.
