Feb 2nd 2008 9:03AM Super Bowl is a good reason to buy an HDTV set indeed. The good news is that FOX will broadcast the Super Bowl over the air for free. No need to buy HD proramming, just use a plain old tv antenna...
Less than 1 percent of TV ads are in high-def (Engadget HD)
Jun 26th 2006 1:35PM Yep, 1% is really small, but at the moment advertizers are not willing to pay extra for high-def. This market is too young to say whether high def ads have more selling power than the ordinary SDTV.
