Mar 23rd 2012 10:59AM I bought a Maytag washer from Home Depot and it was one of the worst mistakes in my life. Not only did it have to be repaired 3 times during the short time we had it- it actually caught fire on the fourth year of ownership and the motor burned up. In checking on the internet it has been reported numerous times of running hot, the cabinet being very hot to the touch. We examined it after the mishap and found that the running windings field in the motor was wound with copper wire the size of angel hair spagetti. Much too small for the tasks that would be assigned to the washer. And NO we did not overload it either.
Incidentally it only had a one year warranty so we scrapped it period!

I went to work the next day because I had just started to work at a new job. We couldn't afford a trip then or afford to be off from work. I have since made it right with numerous trips and journeys. When I look at all the young girls that bare some type of body markings- to me it makes them look very dirty and unclean. Should they have regrets later on and want them removed, it becomes an expensive and impossible task to remove without any trace. Think about it seriously before you make that first big mistake.

Jul 21st 2010 6:06PM I make it a point to change filters on the first day of each month. They are not that expensive and I even write the letter F on my calendar with a circle around it to remind me replace the filter. If seniors have E or EE bonds that have reached final maturity (30 years) they need to cash them on the first day of the month that they reach final maturity. Interest is paid for that whole month so... a big B is also posted on the calendar beside the filter reminder of the letter F.

Well, you are wrong and to me and other seniors, it is an act of terrorism-pure and simple. Remember this, if you don't remember anything else in your life, Familiarity Breeds Contempt. Will the person or persons out there in the world doing these cowardly things be satisified with that so called little action, or will they attempt to do things on a larger scale to harm a lot more people or property? Think before you act on something of this nature that could rob someone of their sight or life before you act. It could cause you unrepairable harm in the interim. That my friend would be Poetic Justice.
