Don Imus on Adam Jones: 'What Color Is He?' {AOL Sports Blog}
Jun 23rd 2008 6:54PM #353 above my comments is "right on" and probably what I didn't really want to say. It just may be that IMUS is passing for white and is probably seethingly angry to know he is NOT WHITE. He carries a similar anger as former Congressman Bob Barr of Georgia. They are obssessed with putting African Americans in an inferior location both publicly and privately. Anything to delineate themselves from the very race they may be denying. They appear to be the ones that protest a little too much, and more than likely, KNOW a little too much of what they speak regarding criminal activity.
Don Imus on Adam Jones: 'What Color Is He?' {AOL Sports Blog}
Jun 23rd 2008 6:44PM The question "What color is he?" and the response "He's African American," is strange. African American is not a "color." It is a racial identification. We all know that there are many African Americans that "pass" for white. President Dwight Eisenhower was African American. His mother was a mulatto. And though Republican, he stood up for the civil rights of African Americans. But does anyone perceive him as being "African American?" What about Alexander Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Taft or Calvin Coolidge and finally Abraham Lincoln?
So either Imus was begging the answer: "He's black," or he was intending to make double-entendered wit about the name PacMan, since he probably knew what the story was about. The atrocity was his second comment, which indicates that since he's African American or "black," it's only NATURAL that he would be involved with crime.

Barack Obama Would Rather Be Dr. J Than President of the United States {AOL Sports Blog}
Apr 3rd 2008 11:25AM I'm not getting this. #318 says Barack has been wanting to become President all his life and he needs to be truthful? Why lie about an aspiration? I agree with the gentleman that states we are all biased about our stereotypes. Get a grip, people.
Barack Obama Would Rather Be Dr. J Than President of the United States {AOL Sports Blog}
Apr 3rd 2008 11:10AM The real racists on this page are the very ones mentioning it. Why is it so important to keep talking about race, except that racism is on your mind first, when it comes to someone who is of another race. Ironically, Obama is as much white as he is black. Now think about that!

Hot Seat: Obama Solve Rev. Wright Problem? {Political Machine Blog}
Mar 19th 2008 4:59PM Duituturaga 4:12PMMar 19th 2008
"Bronx Bomber: You have got to get your facts straight. It is Wright, Rev. Wright not Rev White.
Speaking of which, white people are tired of tirades against us. Rev. Wright was stuck in a black attitude which he and probably you will never give up because it gives you a cause. My husband is a Fijiian and does not relate to the black cause even though he is dark and out of Africa 3000 years ago. Because of that he gets along with everyone no matter where."
And Margaret Mead said that 85% of white Americans have some mixed blood or African ancestry in them in 1969. But whites don't get along with each other anymore than any other group of people do. Northern Ireland is still volatile. So if you think you and your husband think globally, then become more global-minded by listening to the news. Remember it was only 44 years ago that Blacks could actually vote. Not 3000 years ago, sweetie. There was no USA then. Only Jesus walking amongst us, then.
Hot Seat: Obama Solve Rev. Wright Problem? {Political Machine Blog}
Mar 19th 2008 4:06PM First we want to MAKE him a Muslim, so we can call him a terrorist. But that wasn't effective enough. NOW, we want to MAKE him a WRONG KINDA CHRISTIAN because he became a Christian in good standing at Trinity Church of Christ where the outspoken Rev. Jeremiah Wright was once the Senior Pastor. Either he's "not black enough," or "he's too black."
We voted actors into governorships and the White House, but we question a young black Senator's experience? So -- he WASN’T the Austrian accented Terminatuh, or toting a gun in Death Valley Days sponsored by Twenty Mule Team Borax. Answer this though:
Why do we seek to assassinate leaders because of what another person said? You certainly didn't do that with Hillary. Ralph Waldo Emerson once stated," A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines." Has anyone ever thought that out of that environment of confusion, there came birth of an epiphany to a man named Obama that decided, "Enough is ENOUGH!!!???"
Jeremiah is not always 100% purely wrong, anymore than Pat Robertson or the late Jerry Falwell is/or was 100% purely right. In other words, you can hate Jeremiah Wright. Go ahead and do that. But why does hating Jeremiah Wright give reason for back-lashing Obama? Since when is it improper and inappropriate to politically support Obama because another individual, Rev. Jeremiah Wright is outspoken and self-indulgent in inflammatory rhetoric that is seen as offensive to people? Bill O'Reilly is one incendiary TV politico. No he's not a minister. He's said some horrific things to people. Do we impeach Bush because O'Reilly backs Bush or Cheney? We do have a constitutional right, called Freedom of Speech, which protects us from such salacious censorship which is now being touted against Obama -- not Wright, even if we disagree with Wright's speech. And since when has it been that we MUST NOT VOTE for a man who attends a "black church," where such rhetoric has been common since the days of Martin Luther King and civil rights? Once again, we want to MAKE him a Muslim, so we can call him a terrorist. NOW, we want to MAKE him a WRONG KINDA CHRISTIAN because he became a regular member in good standing at Trinity Church of Christ where the outspoken Rev. Jeremiah Wright was once the Senior Pastor.
Martin Luther King made some strong commentary at his pulpit. Did you censor John Kennedy for having called him at the Birmingham Jail while running for election? Should Eisenhower have avoided calling in the troops over Governor Wallace's stance on segregation, because the many black churches all across America as well as white churches took a stand against Jim Crow and segregation? Was Martin Luther King a terrorist? Why didn't we send Malcolm X BACK to jail, now for his extremist beliefs? Certainly your buddy J. Edgar Hoover kept close watch on both of them!
Let us remember the three-fifths clause in 1787 and the more recent blood spilled just a few years ago, to allow African Americans their right to vote. Our Electoral College and super-delegates that Geraldine Ferraro authored is still darkened with a history that existed more than a hundred years after the abolishment of slavery. People, both black and white died for that cause in the 1960s – not 1860s. Less than 50 years ago, many African Americans in the south still had no right to vote until the 1964 Voter's Rights Bill. Let's see now: that appears to be 44 years ago, isn't it? Obama was three years old, then. Many more of us were teens and young adults. "Plessey vs. Ferguson," didn't get shot down until the case of Brown vs. Board of Ed was voted and given life. When was "Plessey vs. Ferguson"? 1896. When was the decision on Brown vs. Board of Ed.? 1956. Fifty-two years ago, five years before Obama was born. So all this anger you sense in the Jeremiah Wrights of this nation occurred in their real world. I am 55 years old. My bi-racial grandfather, my mother's father, was born in 1850. He was 15 years old when the civil war was over. Why wouldn't I still sense the gravity of what this government and its society has done to African American people?
Even in the New Testament, Paul and Barnabas did not always agree, neither did Paul and Peter. Should we censor one over the other because there was a disagreement? Then this same media needs to rewrite the Holy Bible. Obama is definitely not the worse for having met and embraced Rev. Wright and his church. Frankly, he grew up with a father who was an outright atheist, and who knows what his mother's beliefs were? A true higher power awakened Obama to the love of God; something embedded in his desire for our nation to change. However, it is clear that the media of our nation does not want this to happen.
Jeremiah Wright does not do anything anymore than most other ministers do in their pulpit. And that includes crazy thinking deluded Pat Robertson, who still has his TV show of which he continues stating and touting some strange visions and then having to always apologize for stating them. The media has known for years that black preachers speak against social injustice at the pulpit. Many Rabbis and Imams do the same. It is critically grounded in scripture. Read Numbers 13, when Miriam became leprous because she spoke against Moses' her brother's wife, who was black. Ouch!! Take that out of the Bible, somebody! Take it out of the Torah!! And don't forget to ask God for His resignation because he dared caused Miriam to become leprous. Does God allow us to reap what we sow? Well, we might have to tell God to step aside from His position.
Read James 5 in the New Testament. The disciple/apostle James doesn't mince words. Neither did Christ, when the Pharisees asked him, "Who is YOUR father?" in John 8. Christ ultimately told them their father is/was the Devil, because they "do/did the things of the Devil." And YES, the tenses in the previous statement means just what I said both past and PRESENT.
