Second-Story Cats - Tips for Countertop Cruising Cats (Pawnation OLD)

May 25th 2011 11:25PM On the subject of cats walking on food preparation surfaces, keep in mind that some of the most vicious, deadly and persistant parasites known live in - and are spread by - cat feces. If you don't mind your cat using the litter box, then walking on your food surfaces, fine. Just DO NOT invite ME to snack or dine at your home.

Rihanna's Diva Demands Disrupt UNICEF Campaign (The Boombox)

Apr 24th 2011 9:44PM Authorities say "anger is pain in disguise." Obviously many people commenting in these pages are in a ton of hurt and pain. Take care of yourselves. Find and eliminate your pain. You will live more pleasant and productive lives and cause less pain to others. Thank you :-)

Rescued Injured Dog (and Supermom) Was Found Taking Care of Her Litter and a Kitten, Too (Pawnation OLD)

Dec 29th 2010 7:49PM I lived in Seattle for 35 years and, being relatively close to Canada and visiting there a lot, I often wondered how Canadians came to be so civil, considerate and unselfish. Racially speaking, Canada is an amazingly diverse country, and yet Canadians remain friendly and fair and to a fault - especially in matters of race, government, public healthcare, human rights, housing and safetly - areas Americans a bit sarcastically refer to as "entitlements." Canadians assist each other. Indeed there are myriad area in which Americans can learn much from our good neighbors to the north. As you can see, even Canadian animals are sensitive to the needs of others! (Had to work that in.) For a good example of how a country should be run, visit Canada. You probably will be amazed. - An American

Amanda Peet Suffers an Attack of Stage Fright on 'The View' (VIDEO) (AOL TV)

Dec 22nd 2010 9:15PM I keep seeing these notes on AOL news blurbs saying the announced TV clip may be missing. Often it is. But without the clip, where is the story? Nowhere! No clip, no story. But does this stop AOL from running this non-clip? Nah. They continue to promote it knowing damned well - or should - that the clip has expired. It is policies like this that keep AOL firmly in the amateur category of publishers.

Barack Obama Guest-Stars on 'MythBusters,' Wants to Learn About a Solar Death Ray (VIDEO) (AOL TV)

Dec 9th 2010 11:10AM If you are smarter than Barack, why are you NOT PRESIDENT? Was it because you did not graduate from Harvard and TEACH constitutional law at Harvard? Be honest: Did you even know who Archimedes was and his historical importance? No, you did NOT. Have you spent ten minutes with your own teen age children today? Nope! Because you are a simpleton, ninny parrot for the Republicans who are robbing you blind while you don't know it because you think like a second grader. In fact, you know about as much about goverment as I know about neuroscience (look it up.) Now run along and turn on Limbaugh or Glenn Beck. They need to tell you what to think today.

Jim Carrey Thinks 'Three Stooges' Movie Is Dead (Moviefone Blog)

Nov 13th 2010 12:57AM I'm 70, and was a kid when the Three Stooges were in their prime. I loved them then and I love them now. I've always thought the masterful pathos (a hint of sadness) in the Stooges comedy made the boys great. And no, I see nothing of the sort in the actors mentioned to do a new Three Stooges movie, especially Sean Penn. Great actor. Not funny. I'll pass.

Cat on a Train - Stowaway Cat Attacks New Zealand Train Conductor (Pawnation OLD)

Nov 7th 2010 1:07AM The person who wrote this article knows nothing about cats, and so just makes it up. Cats DO NOT "hate travel." Some cats LOVE riding in cars, on bikes, skateboards, etc. It depends upon how they have been raised. The recently was a story about a cat who regularly boards a train to travel to a distant museum. Now, as for "stuffing a cat into a box," you deserve to have your hand munched on. Be considerate of cats and they'll be considerate of you. Meow!

Airline Loses Gucci Bag Worth 50K (AOL Travel News)

Sep 26th 2010 2:41AM
A bag. A bag and contents worth $50,000. Can you perceive the vulgarity? I cut down a rain forest tree and felt terrible about it. Then I realized these pieces of garbage were amongst those whom I denied the oxygen and felt much better.

Russian Communists Demand Sting's Arrest (Spinner)

Sep 16th 2010 11:25PM Sting has more talent, wisdom, compassion, education and generosity than all the damned members of the Communists of St Petersburg and Leningrad combined.

Caretaking Cat Saves Lives at Animal Clinic (Pawnation OLD)

Aug 27th 2010 5:09PM Cats are beautiful creatures. I have experienced no joy as when providing for my cats and seeing their appreciation. I, too, suspect cats have a transcendental kind of attachment to their caregivers. Thank God for cats.
