Ben Roethlisberger Suffers Broken Nose Against Ravens (Fanhouse NFL Blog)

Dec 6th 2010 12:51PM Where was it even said that Ben was accused of rape? I do not believe that is what he was even accused of in the first place, which by the way, there was no evidence for. I've also heard people call him a pedifile, when this "lady" was no minor. I've even heard people claim they should cut off his ..... These comments are all unfounded.

Brazilian Keratin Hair Treatment: The Pros (and Pitfalls) (Stylelist)

May 18th 2010 1:06PM She had very pretty hair prior to this. I do not understand why anyone would spend $300 for this. My hair is naturally wavy, curly, thick, frizzy from the Jewish side of my family. I spent $10, pre-treated my hair myself, followed the instructions on the bottle, and my hair turned out real nice. It still has some wave and body and even a little bit of natural curl. It is just no longer frizzy and tight. I no longer look like I have big hair. There is no reason to spend $300.

Sweet Tooth Gets Girl, 10, a Week of Detention (ParentDish)

May 13th 2010 1:25PM Tanya - if you actually read the whole thing, you will find that there were no actual rules against a student having jolly ranchers or rules against a parent giving a child candy to take to school.

Sweet Tooth Gets Girl, 10, a Week of Detention (ParentDish)

May 13th 2010 1:01PM Everyone's body chemistry is different. Some kids have an extremely high metabolism and need more food in order to maintain a healthy weight. Some people have low blod sugar and need that occasional jolly rancher or candy bar. My husband was 5/10 and 117 pounds when he was in high school. He is now 6'3 and weighs about 175 lbs, which is still considered thin for his height and age. He is one that can eat that 20 oz steak, a bag of potato chips, a two liter of pepsi, a bag of chocolate, and still remain slim and in excellent health even though he is now in his forties. Also, when we were kids, our parents made us go outside and play and be active. We ate junk and drank pop and not one of us was heavy as a child because we were getting enough exercise. The biggest problem is that these kids that are obese are not active. It is not so much that they sucked on a ten calorie jollie rancher. This punishment does go too far and it is too extreme, period. Public schools today have forgotten about common sense. Many of them have forgotten how to use their brain, expecially in this case.

Will Skechers Shape-ups Walk the Talk? (Shopping Articles Blog)

Apr 29th 2010 1:01PM I sell AVON and AVON sells Curves toning shoes for about 1/2 the price as Sketchers. They also get a very good rating. I had a couple customers order a pair and both love them. The only problem is, they are so popular, that AVON cannot keep them in stock and the more popular sizes have been out of stock for a while. Also, they do not come in wide.

Obama's Health Care Speech: His Last, Best Hope (Politics Daily)

Sep 9th 2009 12:37PM Obama is not a socialist and he does care. That is why he is trying to make changes.

Colonel's secret ingredient for KFC grilled chicken? Beef (WalletPop)

Jun 18th 2009 12:32PM I also know someone allergic to beef. This is extremely wrong and they should not be doing it.

I will never eat KFC chicken again after knowing this.

Colonel's secret ingredient for KFC grilled chicken? Beef (WalletPop)

Jun 18th 2009 12:29PM It is not ok. I know someone that is allergic to beef fat and if she accidently has any she gets extremeley sick. This is deceitful. KFC is not the only fast food chain that does this.
Some french fries are coded with beef fat for flavor at some places and I think chicken mcnuggets also contain beef fat.

Another thing to keep in mind is that many restaurants to not have a vegitarian grill. They are frying things up side by side on the same grill.

Our Eat n Park does have a vegetarian grill but when we went to an Eat n Park in Pennsylvania, we found out by asking, that they do not. My friend has to ask questions everywhere she goes and many times, the workers there have no idea what is in the food they are serving.

Beef fat should not be included in other products, like chicken and french fries. It is just plain wrong and unethical.

Phelps' Vow to Kids Goes Up in Smoke (Fanhouse - Jay Mariotti)

Feb 3rd 2009 1:01PM He is human, like everyone else. I don't care who you say you are, EVERYONE has skelatins in their closets. Everyone makes mistakes. The ones that are the quickest to judge and make comments about him usually have the biggest skelatins in their closets. People need to get a life. I would estimate that at least 75% if not higher of the American public has tried marijuana. A lot of people have smoked it regularly in their past. And, really, I agree that this should be legalized. The commercials are nothing but lies. I personally know quite a few very succesful business men that own their own businesses and doing quite well for themselves, and guess what? They've smoked it in the past and as far as I know, one of them still does.

AOL Straw Poll: June 5 - June 13 (Politics Daily)

Jun 12th 2008 12:36PM Has anyone heard the entire Write serman? He was not literally damning America.

He was asking what would the Cherekees say? What would the black slave say back in the day when white men were singing "God Bless America"? What would the Japanese say, when we bombed them? He was just pointing out that others would have different points of view than us, and that America is not perfect. He was pointing out that we also have blood on our hands.

The media only wants you to hear certain sound bites so that the public is mislead. They are trying to create fear in the people so they will be "afraid" to vote for Obama, and they are succeeding. This is exactly how Bush got re-elected.

I am not saying that some of Wrights's ideas are not wacked. I am not saying I believe in everything he says. I am just saying you can't always believe what the media is trying to get you to believe.

And, George, those websites are not based on facts. All they are doing is trying to create more lies and trying to bash Obama so that people are afraid to vote for him.
