'Jackass' Star Ryan Dunn Driving 'About 130 MPH' When He Crashed (PopEater)

Jun 22nd 2011 3:16PM That's what alcohol does. If he was high from weed, he would've been going 20 m.p.h. UNDER the speed limit & driving very cautiously.

Pete Doherty Slated for Posing for Pictures During Drugs Case (Spinner)

Dec 4th 2010 10:50AM Why do I keep seeing this 1/2-wit in the news for all these drug offenses, but have yet to hear any of his music?
Maybe I'm on a different frequency.

This Is What 121-1/2 Tons of Marijuana Looks Like ... Before and After You Burn It (Asylum)

Nov 27th 2010 10:27AM I agree 100% with superunknown. When will these law-enforcement officials realize that by keeping weed illegal, all they're doing is supporting organized crime. Doesn't anyone remember what a fiasco the Prohibition Act of 1919 was? All that did was make millions of $$$ for a select few boot-leggers [Joe Kennedy being a main 1] & jump-started the Mafia in the USA.
Does the government actually think that weed-smokers will be deterred by this act of ignorance? Society will ALWAYS want their substances-of-choice & will get them come hell or high-water.
That weed was probably some garbage schwagg that was all brown, compressed, cultivated before maturity & pretty much a lousy smoke. When nowadays, with all the homegrown gourmet smoke that is available, let them dispose of that bricked crap anyway.
Alcohol & tobacco kill hundreds of thousands of people annually. You know how many deaths were caused by cannabis exclusively? 0! The big pharmaceutical companies don't want legalized marijuana & will continue pressuring the feds to keep it illegal. They don't want anyone self-medicating. Politicians are just puppets for the corporate kingpins.

Internet Finds Time Traveler With Cell Phone in 1928 Charlie Chaplin Film (Urlesque)

Nov 2nd 2010 8:31PM For 1, transistor radios weren't invented for another 20 years. Walkie-talkies were another 10 yrs. This 'broad' [or dude...hard to tell] is talking to someone & this is another example of the alien technology that was already known by the government.
We, as a society, are kept in the dark SO much by our crooked politicians. This is just 1 more example of things already known by the feds & they leak it out to us a little at a time.
Are they afraid there'll be panic in the streets? Or that we'll catch wind of so many new technological advancements that the feds want to keep secret. Like letting us know about microwaves.

Revenge of the Witches (Slashfood)

Oct 30th 2010 11:23PM That is the most ridiculous thing I've heard. People are so OVERLY politically-correct [I can't stand those 2 words!] that they think that's downgrading to women? Are they that miserable with their own lives that they just can't let it slide?
I'm the exact opposite of politically-correct & think that issue is being used against anything someone is offended by. Just forget it...nobody really got burnt to the stake for that picture on the label, I assure you.
Lighten up & laugh...it's just a label on a beer.

I'd Never Heard Of 'Billy The Exterminator,' and Then I Watched It (AOL TV)

Jul 14th 2010 11:40AM Billy is the kinda guy that I'd hang out with. He's down-to-earth...doesn't give a damn what people might think of his 'style' & is an upbeat dude who seems that he just enjoys his life.
I like the show, his family & his way of handling things.

Prepaid calling cards: Beware misleading call times and hidden fees (WalletPop)

Jul 7th 2010 5:24PM I agree 100% with Tony. My family has 3 Tracfones [1 for each member] & have had them about 7 yrs now. We took a cross-country drive in May 2007...from NC to AZ/NV/CO & had service in every single area, except that 1 'dead zone' around Green River, UT.
I've got 1 of those 'double-minutes-for-life' phones, so it's only about 8 cents/minute. I'd never go with those monthly billed phone plans, as it's 1 less bill to pay.
Tracfones are now capable of accessing the Internet now as well.

Luxist Giveaway: Win A Birds of Sausalito Shave Kit (Luxist)

Jun 7th 2010 12:03AM I'd trim the grey whiskers with something like this. Very nice.

3 Ways to Spot a Job Recruitment Scam (AOL Jobs)

May 31st 2010 4:57PM Exactly what shara said. If the company asks for $$$ before they'll hire you, it's bogus. Companies looking for legitimate employees don't ask for a fee to get the job.
They'll either hire you because of your experience &/or enthusiasm...or they won't. If they ask for $$$, forget it!!

Broke Ballers: 11 Athletes Who Threw Away Their Million-Dollar Fortunes (Streetlevel)

May 28th 2010 4:45PM Why is it that the cats with the 'scratch' are usually the morons when it comes to saving/investing?
If they had any brain-cells, they could've put that huge amount of $$$ in a safe investment & live off the dividends...never touching the motherlode.
Normal people, who aren't out to impress anyone, could live off the interest easily. $50 million that pays a measly 8%, would be $4 million annually. If someone can't live nicely off that, they don't deserve it. Give it to me!!
