Jul 13th 2010 11:45AM To All, Mel, has hit a ROCK BOTTOM here and you should all realize this is alcohol at work, he is an addict addicted to alcohol, and once he takes the first drink he has no defense against the other, and that my friends is what has turned him into the monster he is now. It would NOT surprise me if he loses everything and ends up in jail to really hit bottom, he has 4- choices in life just like any other alcoholic does 1. DIE 2. Mental Institutions 3. Jail 4. Jul 12th 2010 3:44PM There is an old saying in AA you baby them you burry them, she needs to want help, and not have it forced on her. She will do her time and go to rehab but until they put her is a REAL JAIL like Downey Jr. is when she may hit bottom and realize, and surrender that she is an addict in everyway! All you can do for people like this is pray for them, thats it, if they want help they need to ask for it and WANT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plain and simple I have watched many die or end up in mental institutions or Jail like she is going, or they have a great choice they can RECOVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
