Video: iPhone vs. BlackBerry Bold (Switched)

May 23rd 2008 4:52AM I love the side by side commentary! I have an iPhone so I am partial to it. It appears even more revolutionary the other phones because it involves total touch screen usage vs. trying to roll around a stationary mouse, there are some drawbacks. It seems to have varying degrees of battery life, and unfortunately mine has a short one at that, about one day's worth and then it repeatedly shows a dimly flashing battery with a thin line (the battery died). It also is hard to hear phone voice transmissions in public so putting it on speakerphone can help but then again drains the battery even faster. Apple is reluctant to repair this problem which adds the frustration. This is my third iPhone too because the previous ones literally blanked out in mid-use or the virtual keyboard would not work properly. Apple needs to get these bugs out. Otherwise, the technology is cutting edge if you can forgive the shortcomings which arise along with it.
