Jan 6th 2012 5:25PM While I sympathize with families like this, I moved into a retirement community BECAUSE they don't allow anyone under the age of 21 to live here. My lease specified this, and I had ro accept and sign this before being permitted to live here.

The thing is, if they make even one exception for a single family, then they have to allow ALL families to have children. Then it is no longer the community I moved into.

In THIS case, I support the HOA and management.

Dec 15th 2009 9:22PM I don't get cable anymore, so I don't get reception at all. But I did watch this show a few times, and didn't like the way they yelled at the contestants. If it were me, I probably would have just quit. I much preferred watching Ruby and her weight loss journey.

'Wii Fit' Showing Up in Middle School Gyms (Switched)

Apr 8th 2009 8:00AM I own a WII fit, and it's more than just balance and yoga games. It also has aerobic exercises like running in place, stepping exercises, and strength training. I use it on days when the weather is bad, and is an alternative to walking or jogging outside, and I DO work up a sweat.

It has to be combined with a proper diet, but it is helping me to lose weight. Not everyone is athletic or competitive, and if they prefer this to actice sports, it may be a way to to keep their interest. If a video game helps them to pay attention to fitness, then go for it.

May 15th 2008 8:37PM My favorite stress reliever is to sit with a cup of chamomile tea and listen to Reiki or crystal music. My cat curls up next to me to nap and be petted.
