Cell Towers Near Homes? Battle in Mesa, Ariz., Typifies Fears Nationwide (AOL Real Estate)

Cell Towers Near Homes? Battle in Mesa, Ariz., Typifies Fears Nationwide (AOL Real Estate)

Nov 24th 2012 6:58PM I agree that trying to make a cellular tower look like anything else
is craziness. I was the original District Manager for cellular service
in Detroit in 1984 when cell phones replace the old radio phones that
cost in the 10's of dollars per MINUTE. We had to engineer a network
that had good service at great company expense. AT&T has excellent
equipment and thanks to OUR politicians over 93 cents of every dollar
billed for service is paid to the FCC and for taxes (local and
federal). If you don't need cellular service for your phones,
computers and laptops so be it...but leave the towers alone. I'm
certain all of the people on the east coast would love to have their
cell phones working after hurricane Sandy no matter what their tower
looked like.

Bank of America Escalates Foreclosures After Settlement (AOL Real Estate)

Sep 26th 2011 12:40PM My wife and I used Country Wide Mortgage in partnership with Bank of America to buy our home on an FHA loan approximately 3 years ago. The lender knew all appliances were missing and the landscaping had been removed by the prior owner. Still the mortgage was written even though the FHA loan stipulates "No Fix-ups"...not for recovery. With no appliances the home was not inhabitable for over 6 months until we finally were able to buy them. During this time we had to continue our rent paying for 2 residences one that we couldn't live in. When we started to fall behind on mortgage payments we were told to file the forms for and ammended mortgage payment agreement. Bank of America told us "don't make any payments while our paperwork was being reviewed." The bottom line is that we were within a week of foreclosure we were able to find a buyer for the home and while we had to pay BoA severe penalties at closing we got out from under a fraudulent agreement basically forced on us by Bank of America.

Unemployment Dips to 8.9 Percent, 192K Jobs Added (AOL Jobs)

Mar 4th 2011 11:17PM How cruel! To get off the hot seat Obama has his flunkies fake a good jobs report. It sure doesn't feel like the economy is improving. Have you had to buy groceries or gas your car recently?

How Obama's Budget Proposal May Increase Your Taxes Next Year (WalletPop)

Feb 27th 2011 11:35AM Obama never met a tax hike he didn't like. He campaigned for change and we sure got it. Now we have no more HOPE.

Obama Reveals Wireless Internet Expansion Plan, Targets Rural Areas (Switched)

Feb 11th 2011 7:54AM So now Obama is planning to spend trillions on high speed rail and billions on high speed internet. At one time I worked at a communication company that had a top executive with grandiose plans. His plans didn’t go anywhere and the company went bankrupt after it had spent a lot of money trying to implement his strategy. That’s when I realized the difference between a “dreamer” and a “visionary.” The ‘visionary” KNOWS how he going to realize his goals. Obama doesn’t have a clue how to set up an efficient power grid for windmills, how to set up high speed rail in a country as large as the US and how we can set up high speed internet in a country who has basically maxed out our telecommunications networks already. It’s his nightmare on “health care” all over again. Ronald Reagan fought both Communism and "Big Government". Obama is a strong supporter of each.

Anderson Cooper Attacked By Protesters in Egypt (PopEater)

Feb 2nd 2011 12:54PM This is the average Egytian saying "No More Meddling" to Obama and our illustious media. Get out of there and let Egypt resolve it's own problems. I think that the US media would be better served asking our President penetrating questions about our housing crisis, unemployment & jobs, illegal immigration, drugs, etc. We have enough problems here at home. I think Anderson Cooper would even like being beat up by people speaking English.

Roseanne Barr's Nutty New Book (AOL Hot Searches)

Jan 7th 2011 8:57AM Who cares what she thinks about Sarah Palin. We ALL have an opinion but it takes the Socialist Media to highlight the quotes of Rosanne, a self confessed liberal. Get lost...I don't see you on TV anymore and when you were on, your supporting cast carried you.
