May 11th 2008 10:33PM hey paparazzi, did you ever stop to think about why they filmed it, or why people never filmed this kind of sh*t before? It is an unarguable truth that there have always been bullies and what not in the schools, and there are always those who have gotten beaten up, so why is it that nowadays these things are getting filmed, or better yet why is it that growing up we never had school shootings? Something is different, so before you go off saying that it is exactly the same try to open your eyes and see what is right there in front of you first.

May 11th 2008 10:30PM Schmitty, think about what you are going to write before you write it. Yes this kind of act may occur more at Catholic schools than elsewhere, I don't know one way or another, however there is a huge difference between Church and a Catholic school. In church you learn to be patient, understanding, and loving of your fellow man. In a Catholic school you learn when the nuns aren't looking so that you can "rebel" against the system.

May 11th 2008 10:18PM David, you sir are an idiot and a perfect example of why this country has gone so far downhill. No political party is to blame here, these girls are products of the environment they were raised in.

May 11th 2008 10:16PM Richard, you have apparently never seen a real dojo. Martial Arts does not ever promote violence, cheap martial art films promote senseless fighting because that is what people want to see. Every style of martial arts I have ever run across has taught as a fundamental non-violence. Educate yourself before attempting to slander a wonderful way of teaching discipline.

May 11th 2008 10:03PM I disagree with smokey, you can punish your kids. True you should never abuse them, however when a punishment is justly deserved it needs to be carried out each and every time. NO EXCEPTIONS. It sounds harsh, and well it is, however the severity of the punishment needs to fit the crime, think about it, take away their cell phones and other things, big deal so they can only socialize at school for a while. WHO CARES? if they get beat like the beating they gave out i guarantee they will never try that heinous act again. And no I am in no way telling parents to hospitalize their kids but beat it into their thick skulls that these actions are not tolerated.
