No 3G iPhone for Canada -- Yet (Switched)

Jul 10th 2008 8:23AM ???

Rogers never got the first gen iPhone, it's never been officially
available in Canada.. where did you get information that they
released it back in December?? They ARE releasing the iPhone 3G
tomorrow morning at 9am:

http://www.rogers.com/web/content/wireless-products/iphone_release&content3=a?cm_mmc=homepage-_-ON-_-English-_-www.rogers.com%2fiphone

The story about iPhones not being available in Apple stores is Apple's response to the ridiculous iPhone plans that Rogers announced a couple of weeks ago. They've since announced a more reasonable $30 6GB add-on to any voice plan.. not sure where the Apple store situation stands now.

A little fact-checking goes a long way.
