The same with AT&T subsidizing it. And I feel bad for saying it but.... I can afford an expensive phone, and if people who can afford it don't want it enough to pay, then they shouldn't have an excuse to have one, which the subsidizing would be.

On a different note, man, this place is dead. there are never any comments to any of the stories! Seriously.
But keep it up, I check this site everyday along with Engadget, and I think it brings just the right amount of different information to the table, and is worthy of being a separate blog. I appreciate the effort guys, just hopefully more people will start commenting.

May 8th 2008 2:39AM Damn..... I'm getting really, really psyched now.
My iPhone was stolen last November, and I decided to go with a freebie phone until the new one came out, although I did end up my a touch.....
Still, I think it'll definitely come out some time in June, and I think there's actually a good chance it could be one of those "and it ships today" announcements. If not, then I'd say June 29th, just to make it the one year anniversary.
Either way all the signs are pointing to some time this summer.

May 6th 2008 12:57AM ......You do know that you can use the iPod classic for storage/music as well, video too. It also has 80/160GB, so you can store more on it.
I realize that you're "old school" but you can still do all the stuff on the new iPod that you can on the one that you have, and it has a better battery life.
