I'm not sure. Talk is cheap, as we all know.
He just popped up one day, and "all of a sudden" he's vying to be our next President? I am a bit concerned that he'll have to " walk the talk", or lose many who think he's so great. I read his book, and am still in a quandry, as to " will he be good for us"? I have my doubts on some of the things he SAYS he can do.
Too, " Free health care for "ILLEGALS" KIDS. WHAT ABOUT OUR OWN? W/W our world in such a mess, our people should get FREE health care, NOT " ILLEGALS"!
THAT'S JUST ONE OF MY PROBLEMS IN BELIEVING HIM.THEN " HE PICKS MOSTLY BLACKS" FOR ALL OTHER AREAS OF OUR GOVT' ETC..WE'LL SOON BE "BLACK AMERICA" AND FROM WHAT I'VE READ? THAT'S SCARY. CHOOSE WHOMEVER FITS THE JOB, NOT THE " COLOR"!
I AM NOT A RACIST, NEVER HAVE BEEN, GREW UP WITH THEM IN WISCONSIN, AND NO ONE EVER CARED ABOUT COLOR. BUT TIMES HAVE CHANGED SINCE THEN, "40'S"

Jan 16th 2009 5:15PM I only thing I KNOW Obama will do, is to make sure Illegal kids will get FREE health insurance. Is that fair? NADA. NOT with all the foreclosures, people out of jobs, and their kids will need FREE health care, also, but this hasn't been mentioned,for them? nor passed?

I have to go along with you on this. IF Obama is NOT an American by birth, then how come he got voted in? I always thought this was a " have to" in order to become a political person, and I think it's wrong... if he's not, then something should be done about it. One has to BE an American, to be able to do the right thing. Why would we let someone NOT a US Citizen be the President of our US of A? I agree that this should be as it's always been. I HOPE THEY CHECK THIS OUT FURTHER.

Dec 1st 2008 5:54AM I agree with the lady who says she dresses for herself, and not others. I never even go to the anywhere without making myself look as good as I can. Not "dressed up", but looking neat, and caring what I look like.
I too, am a widow of 73,and no one believes I'm that age, if first meet them. (Nor do I act it!) I love a good sense of humour, also. I have pride in myself, and yes I have a few wrinkles too. Do I care? I like to look nice wherever I am, or whom I am with. I make sure even when I go shopping, but it's because I want to feel good for myself as for others. I've always been that way. I had a lady in her 40's, who once asked me " why dont' you dress your age"? I told her " I dress for me, no one else", which of course I do. I see many men look at me, in a nice way.
And because I have pride in myself. That should be with anyone. But it's up to each of us to be ourselves and like it. I do ! It just takes so little time to be neat,friendly and lovable. Then you draw people to you and it makes one happy.
