Internet access will be a temporary problem since the cell phone is now being sold in the small Island nation which will usher in wireless internet. Soon ties with Aruba and other small nations will form an economic alliance which will bring more tourism, trade, and other economic stimulas packages to all involved. Finally a true peoples economy may be born.

This may allow America's tarnished image to change and show who America really is and what America is really about. America might no longer be known as the tyrant of this world but as brother to all. Sometimes a small step in a small nation can change the world.

Apr 27th 2008 9:38PM To be eaten is a very strange concept, afterall once food is partaken from another world then the rules of that world would seem to apply. Take for instance the story of Adam and Eve, only after eating the food on this world did they become part of this world. This included the good and the bad,life and death. If anything,the creatures currently watching this world so closly are simply amazed that a simple campain can release so much hatred and prejudice toward ones fellow inhabitants of a very small planet. Smoking pot causes failure to consume large quanities of alcohol and tobacco a reality, thereby giving unsuitable support to the medical establishment and many law enforcement agencies. What one does on their own time should be regulated, after all freedom should only exist within the confines of an established system of control. Think about it.

I too believe one should fight the good fight by facing the issues, demostrating various points of view, finding and proposing soutions, putting forth logical reasons for ones rationale, and remenbering all Americans are part of this process, no one man or woman is an island and able to solve all problems by themselves. America is the greatest think tank in the world and has the capacity to solve any problem if we all work together.

Apr 21st 2008 10:27PM Funny how the shape of reality is manipulated by the misconceptions of those who express favor for indiviuals, whose own reality is not neccessarily based on the American dream but often American greed. All canadates have responded to barbs from other canadates instead of focusing on the problems and solutions for America. This worries me. In the international arena a president cannot respond to personal attack or respond with troops while trying to even the score with some remote dictator. Those that do leave America's dreams behind and leads her to economic destruction. Some presidents have not understood that with great power comes great responibility. War is often an easy solution with disasterious returns. Peace is harder. When voicing opinion for the next leader look inward and pray. Realize that with each voice this country will either move toward peace or war and the future of this country truely stands in the balance.

Apr 20th 2008 9:25PM Regardless of political affiliation one must acknowledge mistakes in reporting do occur, often out of predjudice toward a particuliar bias. This may be unconscious manipulation of facts or unforgivingly purposeful disinformation of information. One would think editors and fact checkers would curtail much of the factual manipulation, but alas this is not so. Times of election seem to bring out the most prevalent uses of misnterpreted facts, and unfortunately many consumers of news are led astray into a newly created reality. Responsibility of truth knows no party, and to show favoritism is not jounalism but personal bias. This country, no the world, deserves better. Thank you for the article.

Apr 20th 2008 5:23PM Money is the root of all evil, as this case clearly demostrates. Laws trying to control the human migration patterns are unnatural and therefore are a cause for confrontation. The fact that many Americans consider the right to consume illegal drugs a freedom being erroded by current law also gives rise to confrontations between many. Both instances are money generated. Those who offer their life to protect and serve are now being placed in jepordy with a catch twenty-two ending in discrace and prison. To stop the problem is to stop the money. Make illegal drugs legal, regulate, and let the individual decide on what to consume. Sponser and control migration between nations and let all enjoy the possibility of a better life. Most of all stop secret pacts between prosecutors and 'supposed victims' for poltical gain.
