Apr 10th 2008 8:18AM Tasers are meant to be used in place of a gun. They are only supposed to be used when an officer would otherwise pull and use his gun to kill someone. They are occasionally fatal.

So your justification that they were white trash and loud and therefore somehow deserved this excessive force and abuse of power by the police is ridiculous.

The police force, for the most part, has mutated into something other what was intended when they were created. They now spend most of their time writing tickets to generate revenue on people who can't afford them, harassing innocent citizens in an effort to prop up their own egos, and ignoring the laws that they are meant to enforce.

I have been the victim of several crimes, including armed convenience store robbery, car stereo theft, a different car break-in and theft, and identity theft.

The police are 0 for 4. Most spent no more than a few minutes on the "case". A few even laughed at me when I asked about catching who did it. They are useless and a waste of space unable to resolve even the simplest crimes.

If you need the police, hope and pray the aggressor has an expired tag, a broken tail light, an inclination for speeding or some other similar situation, otherwise, the police won't bother to ever find him.
