The bullies picked her for that reason. They go after easy targets. That is what bullies do.
A society that points the finger at a defenseless teenage girl rather than defends her is cowardly, sadistic and doomed.
What audacity to attempt to manufacture public scorn because the victim was troubled. Shame on those that tried to manipulate opinion in such fashion. As if to say it is open season on the trouble teenage females. Ridiculous! Bullies don't target wresting champions, they target troubled kids because bullies are cowards.
Anyone who supports this spin is not protective of kids. The bullies even gloated all over social networking that Phoebie's death was the goal and they were glad she was dead.
