Polar bear Knut senselessly murders ten carp in front of zoo visitors {Gadling}

Apr 13th 2008 2:23PM 'oh those poor fish'. :/ dude, animals kill animals all the time. so a polar bear killed a few fish, humans are constantly killing animals, sometimes not even for food, just for sport.

of course, it said that the polar bear didn't eat the fish right away. but it was probably instinct. polar bears in the wild often go a long time without eating and sometimes starve, when there's an abundancy of food overkilling and saving for later is something everyone does. humans do it too. we stock our freezers full of meat, but we don't eat it all at once.

people freaked out by a polar bear killing some fish should really take some time to think about their fellow species acts the next time they sit down for a steak dinner or even their own acts the next time they go hunting or fishing.

200-Million Spam Text Messages Hit Chinese Cell Phones {Switched.com}

Apr 1st 2008 5:17PM @previous posts: congradulations, you're the scum of america. racism in your comment basically nullifies your opinion, and makes it retarded and worthless to the more educated world around you. also, japan is the asian country popularly known as the technological geniuses, not china. they don't 'protect our phones'. and refering to the people of china as a whole is just like if a foriegner says that americans are retarded thanks to bush. think in terms of individuals. and cool, if you can barely manage to properly spell out half of the words in your insults, then maybe you should take a long, hard look at who really deserves to be called a retard. let me help you with this one: it's you.

Woman said her drink was spiked on flight to Thailand {Gadling}

Apr 1st 2008 5:04PM that's muffed up if her drink really was spiked.

but i don't really believe it. something about this story isn't right... she was drinking wine before she drank water, maybe she passed out from the wine? and she's made a big deal of it, but she hasn't reported the incident. she should have been tested for anything weird in her system at a hospital when they landed. there just doesn't seem to be enough proof, it's just what she claims.

also... air lines are so tight now, how and what would the soldier have been able to sneek past securities onto the flight to drug her with? it doesn't seem likely that they would get on a plane with the intentions of drugging their neighbor's unattended water bottle.
