Why Did Cheryl Cole Get Booted From U.S. 'X Factor'? (PopEater)

May 27th 2011 7:32AM Okay, let me get this straight. Everyday, there are athletes on TV explaining some play they made, or didn't make, and I can barely understand a word they say. Then, we have our visitors from south of the border. Try understanding more than every third or fourth word they say. Now, we have a white, English speaking woman, who's already been on the same show in the UK and FOX is firing her because she doesn't speak English well enough? This story is either a lie designed to cover some other issue, or the deficiencies of the American education system are finally perculating to our top decision makers.

Cell Phone Ratings: BlackBerry Bottoms Out; How Did iPhone Rate? (WalletPop)

Feb 21st 2011 11:36PM iPhone is not on the "Best" list, but a Nokia and Palm are? I guess that must be why days before the Nokias and Palms come out, long lines form of prospective customers brimming with anticipation. Your ratings are a joke.

Vivienne Westwood Presents Emma Watson With Style Icon Award But Doesn't Know Who She Is (Stylelist)

Feb 16th 2011 8:13PM Who is Vivienne Westwood? I had never heard of her until I read this article.

What Truce? 'Glee' Slams Lohan Again and Dina Is 'Hurt and Shocked' (PopEater)

Feb 10th 2011 8:45AM The Lohan family richly deserves the undisguised contempt which most Americans have for them. I blame the parents even more than Lindsay because they created the monster by abandoning their parental responsibility. You would think after the 20th humiliating scandal, at least one of the Lohans would recognize that their behavior is self-destructive and inappropriate.

Verizon iPhone Trade-In Not Worth Jumping At (WalletPop)

Jan 30th 2011 7:58PM I have more than a year and a half left on my AT&T iPhone4 contract. I will use that time to monitor reports regarding the satisfaction with Verizon iPhone 4 service. Let someone else be a pioneer. And who knows, with fewer iPhone broadband hogs on AT&T, their service may even improve.

Why I'm staying with AT&T (TUAW.com)

Jan 29th 2011 9:36AM I have an iPhone 4 with one year and 7 months left on the contract. I have the same problems with AT&T as most subscribers, however, I intend to observe the satisfaction iPhone subscribers have with Verizon. I was previously a Verizon customer, but did not own a smart phone. The service was excellent; virtually no dropped calls. If I read positive media reports re the Verizon iPhone and I get positive feedback from friends with Verizon iPhones, I will consider switching at the end of my current AT&T contract. But, there's also the issue of cost. I have an unlimited plan with AT&T and rollover minutes. I would lose both of those if I move to Verizon. I will decide in August 2012.

Muslim Girl Back on Basketball Court After Being Benched for Wearing Headscarf (ParentDish)

Jan 20th 2011 10:40PM While I people should be free to practice their religion as they wish, that does not mean that the rest of society must bend over backwards to accomodate them. A free society does not mean that the majority must change their customs and beliefs for fear of offending a minority. Observe what has happened in Europe which has many more Muslims than America. They are DEMANDING that their customs and practices be given equal footing with secular law. Muslims have a "our way or the highway" world view. Only when it's too late will naive and passive Americans come to understand who they've been dealing with.

Roseanne Barr's Nutty New Book (AOL Hot Searches)

Jan 7th 2011 7:30AM I will never forget Roseanne's disrespectful mockery of our national anthem prior to a football game. Like most Hollywood actors, she believes traditional values are "evil" and that having no values is "good." It's a free country and her opinion is her right, but I wish that her opinions were not made front page news by AOL which clearly can't distinguish between news we need to know and news we don't.

Paul the Psychic Octopus Dies (AOL Hot Searches)

Oct 26th 2010 6:16PM RIP Paul. You were my favorite mollusk.

Michelle Rhee Steps Down (AOL Hot Searches)

Oct 14th 2010 9:02AM Rhee had to go to satisfy the teachers' union. These parasites bleat about "the poor children," but in truth, they're first and foremost concern are their salaries and benefits package. The kids can come out of school as functional illiterates so long as their pensions grow fat and their sick days increase. Rhee's forced resignation is also the result of blatant racism by DC voters who didn't like to see an Asian woman firing black teachers, even though nearly all the teachers in DC are black, and Rhee only fired the most incompetent.
