Tom Cruise Has Worst Week Ever (PopEater)

Oct 25th 2009 11:14AM America has lost of sense of civility. People are nasty for no reason, with no provocation, and all in public. I think it started with "celebrities" having public feuds (Paris Hilton and Nicole what's-her-last-name), on to Rosie O'donnel attacking Trump, and the whole View gang is nothing but a bunch of losers attacking people in public (recent hapless victim thought she was there to promote her cookbook: Paula Deen). Just unbelievable... anything at all just to see your name in print!

Made in the U.S.A.: What products are still American-made? (BloggingStocks)

Sep 20th 2007 9:46AM I am a U.S. citizen of Asian descent myself but I try to buy things that are labeled "Made in USA" because I believe that we're not making our country strong if it is not producing anything. I am amazed that Americans are so self-deprecating, to the point of (for lack of a better word) self-loathing, when it comes to American cars. I drive a Ford Escape and would not trade it for a Lamborghini if it were given to me, because I firmly believethat we must try to help our country's industries. If you go to Europe, you'll see most Europeans drive cars made in Europe. Asians in Asia drive their own local cars, or Japanese cars, and the moneyed ones buy German cars. Not many buy American cars, so why should we not stick with American cars (and products) and stick it to them? If American people think that way, we would be shutting down the pipeline through which foreign products are stuffed down our throats!

2006 Mercury Mariner Hybrid: In the Autobloggreen garage, Day 4-5 (Autoblog Green)

Aug 9th 2006 9:16AM I own a 2007 Ford Escape, and I love it, love it, love it. I guess I should have bought its cousin car the Mariner since it is deemed "more stylish". But I am happy with my beautiful hybrid and went all out: moon roof/leather heated seats, you name it, I've got it. Although a minute detail, I am happy to discover that, for the first time ever, I can say that the headrest actually does its purpose. The car drives smoothly and has a lot of power for just a 4-cylinder. Fuel efficiency is as I expected, in the 30-mile range mixed highway and city driving. I highly recommend the Ford Hybrid, either in a Mariner or an Escape!!!!
