I do not feel he deserved to be killed for being gay, but his gayness and dl lifestyle ultimately lead to his demise.

This dude was as dl as they come, and not surprising he lives in the Atl, this seems to be the norm with most couples in that area. Its unfortunate that he lost his life, but if he were strolling for men and exposing his poor wife to god knows what, karma pretty much stopped him in his tracks.

Jun 3rd 2010 1:27PM Shauna, I totally agree with what you are saying 100%. I have two sons and the teachers, specifically white ones are very quick to place labels on them such as being aggressive or having some form of ADHD. However when little white boys displays the same behavior they are often told that they are just being a boy. The key is to not give these teachers the power to try to label our kids, and try to be very visible in your child's school and work with them for a resolution, otherwise throughout his school years he will be labeled as a "problem child". I drop into my son's school very often and I find that a lot of times, the teachers over react to very minor things because they don't want to deal with your child. Bottom line, you have to be involved.
