Feb 22nd 2008 12:38PM All this talk about blaming and sterilizing the girls. Sheesh.

I say, temporarily sterilize the boys. They are the ones making the girls pregnant. They are the ones convincing the girls to 'give it up.' They are the ones getting the girls drunk and then convincing them of their undying love and affection, coercing the girls to 'make love' when all it is to the boys is another score.

Make the boys sterile, for goodness sake, not the girls. The girls shouldn't pay for the boys' bad behaviour.

Inappropriate Behavior at Police Station (AOL Video Blog)

Feb 8th 2008 8:37PM This does not surprise me at all. For the most part, I've concluded that cops are mostly men who have teensy packages and low self-esteem, along with Napoleon complexes (little men who have been teased all their lives who need positions of power to control others to make up for it).

About 20 years ago, I was pulled over and given a roadside sobriety test. I tested at .085, which was over the legal limit (one month after it changed from .1... ackkk!). I was arrested. It was summer, and I was wearing a tank top and a jeans jacket.

I am a petite blonde, but I have a nice rack, and they told me that I didn't need my jacket in jail because it was very hot, and to leave my jacket in my car. I did.

They tied my hands behind my back with those plastic thingies and sat me in the front of the police car and took me to jail.

I wasn't wearing a bra (c'mon, it was the '80's and I had just played a gig with my band, OK, I deserved it), and when they took me to jail and put me in the holding place where I spent the next five hours, it was about 50 degrees.... FREEZING.

I know they got an eyeful and a HUGE laugh. Those pervs. They told me to take off my jacket so they could see 'me,' and for no other reason.

The pervs.

So, if any of you out there have had similar experiences with the San Jose Police Department, please pipe up. Maybe we can file a complaint.

Jan 13th 2008 2:47PM I don't like ANY of the candidates except for Kucinich who apparently hasn't a chance to win because he's short and funny looking. What a shame.

I would LOVE to see a third party come up through the flames, perhaps even called, "NONE OF THE ABOVE PARTY," because what this country needs is REAL change, which to me means abolishment of both major parties and a move toward a government run BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE.

Poor founders are probably spinning in their graves at where this country has gone in their absence.

Jan 8th 2008 7:17PM It's time to face it. The good 'ole US of A sucks at making cars. It's high time we realize it and put our wonderful, hard-working auto workers (it's NOT their fault, it's management that's sucking up the money needed to keep our quality up and prices low enough to compete with the Asian market), to work securing our borders. Our new leading industry should be security, not autos.

And put the poor auto salesman to work selling security to other countries. Let's see if we can get some of our money back from China, shall we?

Jeez, it's not brain surgery. It's just time to face facts and ACT, dammit.

Dec 8th 2007 4:35PM fyi~ i've known sam hagar since the 70's and he's been as straight as they come forever despite the reputation otherwise. health food, no drugs except maybe a bit of the green... he does like his takillya every now and again though, and he does make the best.
