Aug 16th 2008 10:28PM Jacksonville, Florida has "Forrest High School", named after Confederate General and the first Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, Nathan Bedford Forrest. I'm surprised that that honorary name still is used. I'd think that black person attending that school is comparable to (and as offensive as) a Jewish person attending "Adolph Hitler High". I'm not a fan of political correctness, but symbols are powerful... and the South needs to get over it already. They lost!

Stiff. I can undestand a woman marrying into a strange name scenario, but a guy??? His parents must've had a good laugh (at his expense) on that name

Jul 18th 2008 4:01AM I think computers should have an e-mail "delay" feature which can be voluntarily activated... and left in the "on" mode if desired. Perhaps a box that pops up with a message which reads "Are you sure youwant to send this message?". I think that a lot of people tend to react emotionally... and this slight delay could be just enough to bring them back into reality and prevent big problems.
