The reason why so many ignorant people are offended by breastfeeding is because society(men) has sexually objectified the female breast. Breasts are first and foremost to feed our babies. Society has objectified the breast to the point where many young mothers don't even try to breastfeed their babies because they are uncomfortable with the whole idea. Helen, men don't rip the clothes off women to show their breast, women do that all by themselves. Women are not exploited by men, they exploit their own bodies. Look at the clothes they wear, it will verify my words. Women need and want the attention, and showing cleavage is one of the many ways they get it.
