Hall of Fame Voting Results 2011 (Fanhouse MLB Blog)
Feb 23rd 2011 10:04PM I agree with you about Jack Morris belonging in the Hall of Fame. He was the best pitcher of his era. Having said that, there are other players not in the Hall that also belong there: Lee Smith (the all time saves leader for years until passed by Trevor Hoffman and Mo Rivera), Dale Murphy, Tim Raines, etc. Some of these writers are morons. Shoeless Joe Jackson should have been in the Hall decades ago. As for Pete Rose, he is worthy of being a Hall of Famer for what he did ON THE FIELD. What he did off the field is inexcusable. Remember that not everyone in the hall of fame is an angel. From all accounts, Ty Cobb was a racist, a gambler and a mean sob, but he's in because of what he did on the field. Mickey Mantle was an alcoholic. Others in the hall were drug users.
'America's Got Talent' Winner Is Crowned (AOL TV)
Sep 16th 2010 6:59PM First, 10 year old Jackie Evancho was robbed!! She should have won and not Michael Grimm. Second, and this goes to the person saying to send all the singers to American Idol, singers have a place on America's Got Talent. Sending the singers to American Idol wouldn't get most of the singers the recognition or the chance they deserve. American Idol has an age limit for who can audition for that show: 16-30, if I remember correctly.
New England Patriots 2010 Season Preview: Aging Bunch Still Top Dogs (Fanhouse NFL Blog)
Sep 4th 2010 11:13PM The Giants were the best team that day? NOT! The Giants won because of a pair of LUCKY plays in the fourth quarter.
New England Patriots 2010 Season Preview: Aging Bunch Still Top Dogs (Fanhouse NFL Blog)
Sep 4th 2010 7:27PM I don't know if the window is closed for the Patriots, but it could be closing. Before last year, they lost a LOT of leadership on defense with the retirements of Tedy Bruschi and Rodney Harrison and the trade of Mike Vrabel. Trading Seymour to the Raiders weakened the pash rush, and we saw the results last season. The young players on defense will have to step up, and the pass rush will have to improve. Offensively, a balanced attack would help, but I wouldn't bet against a Tom Brady led offense.
Lindsay Lohan's Cycle: Bad Behavior, Apology, Repeat (PopEater)
Aug 31st 2010 8:09PM Let's hope Lindsay actually learned something this time and that she can turn her life around and salvage whatever is left of her career.
'Angry' Mia Michaels Says Claims of 'Dance' Racism Are Ridiculous (PopEater)
Aug 11th 2010 10:49AM This is so typical. Whenever a black person doesn't succeed in ANY of these reality talent shows, someone is a racist. What a crock!
MLB Trade Deadline Winners and Losers (Fanhouse MLB Blog)
Jul 31st 2010 11:50PM The Red Sox aren't close enough in either the division or wild card standings to make it worth their while to make a major trade. Considering the injuries this team has and the deficit they're facing, it wasn't worth the risk or the cost. Maybe taking a step back this year and getting healthy will help them win it all next year. However, they've been looking for the elusive "catcher of the future" for some time. Maybe Saltalamacchia is the answer to that question.
Drew Carey Shows Off Dramatic Weight Loss (PopEater)
Jul 29th 2010 3:38PM Losing weight is about more than just looking good. It's also about getting healthy! On that note, way to go Drew!!
Jack Tatum Dies of Heart Attack (Fanhouse NFL Blog)
Jul 27th 2010 6:34PM Have to agree with Suitman36, and I'm saying this as a lifelong Patriots fan. The hit on Stingley was legal, based on the rules of the time. In today's NFL, it wouldn't be a legal hit. RIP Jack Tatum!
MLB Trade Deadline Buyers and Sellers (Fanhouse MLB Blog)
Jul 15th 2010 11:23AM If the Red Sox can ever get healthy, the outfield depth will take care of itself.
