Dick Cheney Gets the Gift of More Protection (Politics Daily)

Jul 22nd 2009 11:30AM Gary wrote:"he should have to pay for his own service from the billions(yes billions) that he stole from us Americans and From Iraq".

My my! It certainly pays to read and be informed before posting a fantasy statement like this.
When accusing someone of theft, make sure you are prepared to cite sources that can be verified. (And I am not talking about liberal talking points or blogs from people who hate Pres. Bush and Cheney to the point of insanity.) Cheney did not steal anything from Iraq or from the American people.
Get yourself educated and stop mouthing off words from bloggers.

Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger's Harry Potter Romance (Moviefone Blog)

Jul 1st 2009 3:27PM Connie Manson wrote:This is an appeal to AOL to monitor this section, and an appeal to everyone who participates in writing comments:

Connie: Long before AOL went webbase before 2005, there were AOL volunteers who were given tools to remove message board postings if they are off topic and vulgar. AOL let go of those volunteers called Community Leaders in 2005 and the message boards and chat rooms went downhill since then. AOL once advertised their service were family oriented but I guess money got the better of those executives who decided to make AOL a free-for-all service and that includes profanity-laced and harassment against others posts in the message boards and chat rooms.

Designers Question Michelle Obama's Style (Stylelist)

Apr 26th 2009 10:22AM There is what they call a dress down for special occassions and it is perfectly alright for the people inhabiting the White House at those moments to wear casual clothes. This is akin to speaking casual register but when it comes to formal events such as meeting the head of states and other important people here and abroad, it is imperative that those who are in high offices such as the President of the United States and his family to dress in formal attires and speak the formal register that adults and educated people use in choice company. Michelle's casual attire (sweater over a dress) at a very special event such as meeting the queen of England just shows how ignorant she is about proper protocol. But then again, one should not be surprised since we have seen her tummy emphasized in large oval red in her black widow spider dress.
As I look at her picture in this article, her clothes reminds me of someone who was dressed up to go to the office or to school. (this is the favored style for school marms)
Michelle Obama needs a lesson from the old black folks who are decked out in their fineries during Sunday church.

Who Let Uncle Jimmy Out? (News Bloggers)

Apr 27th 2008 7:42AM Denish hit the nail on the head with Jimmy Carter.
Carter was feeling left out because of all the hulah balloo between Hillary and Obama in the news so he figured he wants a piece of that limelight too at the cost of making a fool of himself in the process. What's sad was witnessing this fool dragged Roslyn, his wife in his quest for immortality in the pages of history.

He does NOT have any authority negotiating with the known terrorist group, the Hamas.
He has shown the American people his contempt against the present administration by usurping the role of the Secretary of State.

He also succeeded in showing us, the ordinary citizens of the USA that he is above anybody using the excuse of trying to broker a deal with the Hamas at the expense of the American taxpayers by providing him security in this self-serving jaunt.

Carter's only motive in this trip to the ME is self-serving: to make people remember who he was, and to write his empending obituary as the good ol' boy from Georgia who brought peace in that region.

Junie B. Jones and the case for spelling, grammar (ParentDish)

Aug 1st 2007 6:59PM To # 11 post from BrokeMom who wrote:
"I wouldn't let my oldest (almost 11) daughter read these books due to the bad grammer(GRAMMAR) and puncuation. (PUNCTUATION)(I was an Enlgish (ENGLISH)major.'Nuff said!) She never really cared. However, my youngest, who is six, has been reading for a while now, albeit reluctantly...and she found one in the library. I am very 'pro-reading', free speech, blah blah blah, so what's a mom to do? She seems to really enjoy Junie, and so I've let it pass. For now." (FOR NOW... THIS IS A FRAGMENT.)

NOTE: CAPS ARE MINE
BY THE WAY, JUNIE B. JONES SERIES IS A SECOND GRADE LEVEL READING MATERIAL. YOUR DAUGHTER IS ELEVEN YEARS OLD. I ASSUME SHE IS IN THE 6TH GRADE. WHY IS SHE READING BOOKS WELL BELOW HER GRADE LEVEL?

THIS IS A VERY STRANGE POST FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS AN ENGLISH MAJOR. I HOPE YOU ARE NOT TEACHING.

Hillary: I'd Make Bill Roaming Ambassador (AOL Elections Blog)

Apr 27th 2007 6:28AM Gotta give credit to Hillary though.. She uses the magic word, Bill, and everybody clamour for more of the same. Can she not run for herself and whatever accomplishments she did?
A true test for a person worthy to occupy that prestigious and honored seat of the presidency is to show himself or herself capable of administering and leading a nation such as the United States.
The use of family members in campaign photo-ops has always been beneficial but Hillary's unprecented "plans" for her husband being hired to work run smack to nepotism not to mention her audacity of creating a new office of ambassadorship which is traditionally meant for ambassadors to be appointed to ONE country as a representative of the USA. And who will pay for Bill's jaunts all over the world, pray tell? US! Taxpayers!

Does Angelina Jolie like her adopted kids better? (ParentDish)

Jan 12th 2007 6:38PM For Poster # 8, Kelly said, "This is why I hate bloggers who blog on celebrities -- what the fig do we really know about it? Nothing."

And what are you doing posting in this blog? hmm?
Kelly also said,"As my 6th Grade teacher would say: Don't we have something better to do than gossip?"..

And what are you doing here.. other than get in the gossip mill, oh holier than thou? Still in 6th grade?

Angelina missed the bonding that comes the moment the baby was born. Could it be the nanny was the one bonding with the newborn? After all, a celebrity can afford to have a nanny to take care of all those "mundane" bonding child care such as changing diapers; giving the baby a bath; and also carrying the baby, walking her, and rocking her when she cries.
I have not known any mother will consider her baby a blob. This reminds me of a chatter in a political chatroom who called himself "Parasitic Blob" to show his disdain about aborted fetuses being called "babies.

Gerald Ford: A Great President, Great Man (AOL Elections Blog)

Dec 28th 2006 9:03AM President Ford's administration came at a time of turmoil. He carried much burden but with grace.
To describe him as one of the greats? I don't think he earned that adjective. I don't remember much what he did for this country but just being there, stabilizing the status quo. He was not elected in that office. He was put there under circumstances that showed the world what our Constitution is all about. May he rest in peace.
