Nov 3rd 2010 8:46PM I am a senior. I am NOT computer oriented. Seattle to Amsterdam I was directed to a computer terminal to print my ticket - an understatement would be stating that I almost stroked out having to face this beheamoth! and the airport people were NOT helpful.
Finally got on to the plane and just as the engines really revved up to get up to air speed - there was a horrendous bang/explosion and the plane slowed down. After a few minutes the pilot said he was checking something and then we would take off. Well after a half hour on the runway we ended disembarking and were told another plane would come. It did and we took off about 3 and a half hours late. Missed my connection to Glasgow Scotland. Was told they had arranged for me to get on a flight to Aberdeen, Scotland and they would bus me down to Glasgow to which I stated NO WAY!!! I TOLD them I would wait/get on the next flight to Glasgow and I gave them the telephone # of the people who were to meet me at the airport and THEY were to call them with all the NEW and pertinent info.
Landed in Glasgow after a long Wait in Amsterdam and my people were there, but my luggage was not! I took two days to find my luggage.
This trip had the effect of my aging at least 10 years on my already old(er) body.
By the way - the trip home was a disaster also, from the Glasgow end - but that is another story.

Oct 31st 2010 3:07PM The bit about magical walkers etc - It has (for me)in fact been in it's own way 'magical' to see these 3 characters along with the other's 'grow up' in and into their parts as now young adults. Since aging is natural process - the 'magical walker' bit stuck as being a bit out in left field and cynical.

Having an American or anyone else don an 'accent' (and) they would fall short - would just not cut it. Knightly is the same build has the accent and the acting ability. Go for it Knightly!

She should be fired for her rant and name calling the other day.

Oct 14th 2010 10:59AM This medal along with the bronze was tarnished the moment these two men did their 'thing' on the podium. Not standing with pride at their anthem.
I was ashamed of them then and continue to be so until this day. There are times and places to vent your displeasure or air you politial preferences. The podium at the Olympics was NOT such a place. This was a low class stunt that will haunt them forever. This medal should stay with him in shame for his actions.
