Nerd Alert! Geo Metro: the new "it" car? {Autoblog Green}

May 19th 2008 5:40PM Geo's rock. They are completely safe. My mom's Geo was T-boned by an F-250 and she walked away unhurt other than some whiplash. Me and dad pulled out the centerpost, put on two junkyard fresh doors, and drove it to the ground (213,000 miles), put a rebuilt motor in and drove it to 100,000 miles before it broke a ring. all the while it got 45 plus, and most days it would get over 50 mpg. Screw the Pruis, its nothing. And how wouldnt the Geo pass emissions. Look at all the other P.O.S cars that are on the road

Battle of the Brands: Chevy vs. Ford pick-up trucks {BloggingStocks}

Apr 28th 2008 10:58PM this isnt even a debate. Fords just dont last. The GM powerplants outlast Fords like you wouldnt believe. Even with their overhead cams, the 5.4 liter Fords just dont seem to have the power of the "ancient" overhead valve 5.3. You always seem to have to push it a little farther to the floor to get a Ford moving, like maybe they dont build the converters right, then again does Ford build anything right? I currently have an 07 Silverado (new body style), and by far its quality tops any of the competition. If the Silverado (1/2 ton) and Tundra were able to compete for truck of the year at the same time, the Silverado would have won. In fact they did a comparo before hand and the Silverado won.

General Motors looking at $200 million engine plant in Brazil {BloggingStocks}

Apr 19th 2008 8:01PM You tard. The technology does not exisit to build an 80 mpg car that is both comfortable and reliable. I agree gas companies are screwing us big time, and they all need to be drug out into the street and shot. The duramax is built by foriegner Isuzu, and look at how well it performers. We should be open to a world market. At the rate our dollar is depreciating, maybe a foriegn country will build a plant here.

Soros calls financial crisis worst since Great Depression, sees more market declines {BloggingStocks}

Apr 4th 2008 9:20AM we are only in a depression if we put ourselves there. If people get scared and think we are going into a depression, then people will sell their stock, not spend any money, and we will go into a depression. If people say, eh, theres no depression, then we will continue to thrive. What the heck is up with the depression scare tactics? Who is going to make money on this deal? Someone out there has made this up, its just like Y2K and global warming.

High Schoolers Create Car That Gets 1,693 Miles-Per-Gallon {Switched.com}

Mar 25th 2008 8:23PM hey, thanks for telling us how they did it. Im guessing its probably a 2 stroke weedeater motor on an aluminum frame that is no bigger than the average human could sit on. Its just not a plausable solution for automanufactures.

GM's Bob Lutz: Global warming is a "total crock of sh*t" {Autoblog Green}

Feb 17th 2008 6:43PM Hells ya. Bob nailed it on the head. Global warming is BS. The climate has changed many times over its life. If we were to go to a global iceage, then what would they blame it one? Its natural people. The only reason Global warming is popular is because people with big money have a vested interest in it. Those scientist who oppose it get their funding cut.

GM's Bob Lutz: Global warming is a "total crock of sh*t" {Autoblog Green}

Feb 15th 2008 10:08AM Damn right. Global warming if FAKE. The only reason it has made it this far is because those scientist who refute global warming get their funding cut. Seriously, the global climate has changed how many times in the past millions of years? wheres the proof we caused it?

Toyota's New Eyelid-Monitoring System Wakes Up Sleepy Drivers {Switched.com}

Jan 26th 2008 9:44AM Never let cars drive themselves. That would defeat the purpose of a car. We should just go to mass transit if that was the case. When cars start to drive themseleves, look for the AAAA, I will be incharge of it.
