The McCain Card - Blame Race In The Presidential Race (Blackvoices Main)

Aug 4th 2008 12:13PM People wake up, if the race card was pulled from the bottom of the deck, it is because that is were McCain placed it. It is all about race for some. Haven't you heard the yahoos in Tennessee that said that they wouldn't vote for a black man no matter what. I have voted for white men all my voting life. Some of the people on this site are racist and are not true black voices. You don't have to vote for Obama because you are black, but have some respect for his accomplishments as an black man who has accomplished a lot. Just getting through law school at a historically white law school is no small feat. I know I went to a historically black law school and it was H E double hockey sticks. He is as qualifed as McCain. I am a U.S. Navy Veteran just as McCain and that along does not qualify me for the office of President. Why don't you focus on the facts. How about Cindy McCain owning over 17 million in a company that is sold overseas (a beer company). Our jobs overseas. Meanwhile, the media has slandered Michelle so much, she had to disappear. Have anyone wondered why the Obama Family can't appear without being called whores, and nappy-headed? WAKE-UP, OR BETTER YET, SLEEP ON BROTHERS AND SISTERS (BLACK AND WHITE)!

Jul 17th 2008 12:26PM No one is asking that you vote for Obama because of his race or skin color. It appears that we have some blacks that are hating on our own race. Vote for him because he is a outstanding candidate, if you think he is evil, then because he is the lesser of the two evils. Earth to Analyst, you are a very misguided person if you think that McCain is the salvation of education. You know that blacks need to take responsibility (some blacks). There was a time that we had values and now we are a declining race. We need to take responsibility. I am not depending on a teacher to ensure that my children are taught. That's my job! We (blacks and whites) need to turn off the television and spend more quality time with our children. The family altar (who and whatever you worship) needs to be established. Stop eating out of everybodies kitchen, cook sometimes! This is our country, not Obama's or McCains' but yours and mine. I support and will vote for Obama, but I pray for all parties, because we truly need the blessings of GOD.

Jul 7th 2008 2:24PM Jesus is the way. What I heard Oprah say was from an experience rather than from a spiritual standpoint. She has spend time in third world country that people have little understanding of life rather than the Lord. I have not heard a lot on her view of this, but the U-Tube Video was not a clear indictment against her. I am not an Oprah follower. I know that the only way to God is Jesus. This is what you get when you chose to worship men or women. The arms of flesh will fail you. In order to get to God, we all have to go through Jesus. God Speed, in Jesus' Name!

Yes it is true that we all have other things to worry about, but understand we must protest against this kind of behavior (none violently). We don't need to tolerate this foolishness from no one. We can do several things, number 1 is at the voting poll in November. Yes we can! The other is with our money, let's boycott any racist establishment. It's okay if they don't want to vote for Obama, but they don't have a right to come against the black race. We did it in the 60s with the bus boycott. Keep your eyes and ears open and let the media and everyone else know that we will not tolerate it. The Baby Momma was a slap in the face against black women. Especially a real lady. God Speed!
