Age cutoffs for having babies? (ParentDish)
Aug 24th 2006 10:21PM I'm 57 and anyone who's over 45-50 and wants a baby has got to be nuts....My kids are grown with their own children ,if I want a kid-fix I just go visit the grandchildren..Sure brings reality into light...At our age we just don't have the strength or stamina to keep up with little ones, much less deal with the nightime feedings...What happened to enjoying out Golden Years???

Because it is WARM..And spell it retarD...If I could afford a nice warm fur coat, damn straight I'd get one...And as for the PETA video...Ummmm What language were those people speaking? Sounded like Russian to me...Darn right I'd wear fur there...And no, I don't believe in skinning an animal when it's still alive..I make sure their dead first...Yeah we used to raise little bunnies...for food and skins...And I did skin them myself..."Got a problem with THAT you Peta lovers?????
Mare meat: a controversy (Slashfood)
May 25th 2006 4:04PM I am a horse lover/owner. However there HAS to be somewhere for the excess livestock to go..What will you do with 90,000 horses? There isn't enough space to "retire" all of them...If they don't go for human comsumption, then they go for dog-food, fertilizer or whatever else they use the carcasses for...I was raised on a farm, we also ate rabbit,squirrel,quail,pheasant,chickens, hogs, and the brains of cattle(scrapple)rocky mountain"oysters"..It's what you grow up eating that makes the difference.......
Would I eat horse? Yes, I'd try it...
